cores are important but having twice as many doesn't necessarily increase performance
compare the FX octa-core Bulldozer to a quad-core i7 2700K
the i7 wins despite the bulldozer having twice as many cores

GPU is way easier to install then a CPU, how do people think that the CPU is easier?
