Well, although I don't really play anymore at least right now, who knows I haven't forgotten about the wonderful times I had here with everyone. Even got around to making my own little homage to the first game community I ever was a part of.

not particularly. a couple game or forum breaking exploits but its all kinda settled now.
Well, good to see you still here at least, and all the modders still doing what they do best.

damn it's been a while, everything looks different now. Howdy folks, just another corpse reanimated in the town.
I got this back in like 2009, but man it's been forever since I was here. I even installed pre-shaders BL in my laptop a bit ago to explore the old Gliese maps for old time's sake.

Anything I missed in the past two or three years?

Hell yeah, I'll clear up the other houses to make the save a bit more focused. I would love to see botwars come back. Do you think Wallet would care if I uploaded a fresh link of his client and everything, since it was released on RTB?

my god these are better than I thought. I'm in love with these fake legos.


They're quick and easy, while still producing quality exteriors!


Funnily enough, they've got a slight GSF feel to the interiors, like the good ol' days of "moving in" to a random house on the maps!


I managed to get the old botwars mod working and I realized this makes it really easy to build a nice bot arena.

I've made five high quality houses in a row, all in a zen afternoon. This is definitely one of my favorites!
oddly enough needing to make sure all the ceiling plates are supported pushed me to incorporate more rooms and I ended up with interesting floorplans!

This is great for people with little understanding of building design or architecture!
Dan, you've really outdone yourself.
Only problem is that red house has inside stairs, and you weren't kidding about that being a pain. If those extra bricks get put in to make it a bit easier I'll faint.

I could never build nice houses before this, plus now I was able to fit five houses and an apartment block below 1000 bricks. Incredible.

Starting a server multiple times without closing the game is usually a bad idea.

Not sure if it's the cause but, yeah.

Hey, that "new" duplicator started crashing my singleplayer game out of nowhere after everything was fine before. Did the usual trials; some mods, default only, and none. from the looks of it, It will only cooperate as long as it the only mod loaded, but if I load the default set it crashes. Also, as far as I can tell it also hates RTB, which is unfortunate. I don't recall this ever being a problem before, but now I can't seem to load it any other way.
Console log provided, as always.
Any Ideas?

Gun with super slow bullets. Like, walking forwards and shooting will hit you.
Aaaaaand it's instakill. Maybe just have it explode if you hit it.
It's not so much for directly attacking, but leaving a slow bullet in a hallway that enemies frequent, sorta like a moving trap. Also the bullet should be hard to see.

Since no one's given their two cents;
Try doing simple gutters, but do them this way;
Your curb is 1x tall, so have a 1f tall hole that's 6x wide on the inside edge on only one sidewalk. Put it square in the middle of the baseplate. Make this a new dupable piece of straight road. Alternate regular straight road with gutters, and alternate sides of the gutter where they do get placed.
Should add detail without too much repatition, and you won't have five hundred gutters in a neighborhood.

Could you pop in my favorite helm, a Heaume/Frog-mouth helmet to the mix? I know it's for jousting and has terrible mobility, but considering how stiff the Blockhead neck typically is, it'd look perfect.
