General Discussion / Viral (MM style objective game)

I recently wanted to try making a game that involves VCE, and i tried experimenting with an idea called "viral", and so begins an idea so complicated and dubious most people will likely fail. Italicized text is for things i might implement, or just ignore if it conflicts with gameplay, and bold is something I'm not sure is possible with events.
This is what I've thought of so far, and i want to develop as much of it as possible. However, some of these things aren't possible with only VCE, so someone with coding experience may be needed. I try to host every now and again, so anyone can try out what I've got so far.
Constructive criticism and discussion is more than welcome, and I'd love if someone could help.
If this is successful enough, i'll put it into a gamemode for y'all to enjoy.
Spawning
Game starts in an elevator with most people as scientists, and amid them are terrorists.
Scientists and terrorists both look the same, and both spawn in the same place with the same spawns.
Gameplay
Scientists must go about the level, completing tasks to create a "cure". Terrorists can also complete these tasks to look like scientists. Scientists must protect the strain, and create a cure before the terrorists escape with a sample.
Terrorists must deceive the scientists, blending in and acting innocent, and obtain this sample to commence a large scale attack somewhere or something.
The scientists have several well guarded samples throughout the labs, and require keys to access it. Terrorists must obtain these keys secretly and obtain the samples.
Map Details
Throughout the map are several gates (like metal detectors) that will detect the virus if you pass through infected. Otherwise nothing happens. Players can easily go around these gates, but this looks suspicious. If a gate is set off, will alert all other players (only telling the location). When an alert is tripped in a sector, all nearby alarm buttons will be available to witnesses for a few seconds, which will then tell everyone what player set off the alarm, auto win for scientists.
(Alert is just a basic area warning, and Alarm is a full on lockdown that ends the round.)
The Virus And You
Once a terrorist is infected, they can infect others to help escape. When you click another player, you transfer the disease to that player, without them knowing. This works on scientists as well, which can be used to spread distrust (inno can set off gates). Terrorists must use teamchat to make sure nobody is unaware of what's brewing inside them.
The virus kills in the span of three to five days, with no immediate symptoms, so it's almost impossible to detect directly. This is why gates are useful.
Win Conditions
Scientists win by either setting off the alarm when a terrorist goes through a gate, or completing the cure.
Terrorists win by infecting themselves with the virus and getting to the elevator without setting off alarms.
