Hi, my name is Cheemio. I've always wanted to make add-ons for Blockland, and I figured here was a good place to start. I plan to learn Java eventually. Tourqe would be an easier liftoff as I already know a lot about how add-ons work and the lot. Besides being an expert eventer in Blockland, I have no past experiences with programming.

If anyone has any topics, websites, or (Doubtful on this) even willing to teach me in person, I would greatly appriticate the help. Thanks for reading!

General Discussion / Blockland: Copyrights?

I've been using Blockland to make a movie for this Electronics expo I'm entering, and you have to get permission to use programs. Is Blockland copyrighted? Do I have permission to use it?

It's school policy. The school won't accept "Oh, you don't need permission." I need proof, somewhere, that I have permission.

I've heard about the new vehicle rowboat.i used the WASD keys but it wont drive.I put the vehicle spawn as close to the water as i could,but no luck.I'm making a model that needs rowboats.some help would be nice.

I was an idiot.

You can take any audio file and convert it to .OGG format, and you can even use a youtube video to get the music.
You can even trim your music on the spot, so it's not a "full song" and will work for your servers.

Off Topic / iPhone 4 vs Experia Play

I'm about to buy one of these awesome smartphones in the next few days. Which do you think I should get?

I have used iOS before, and it is quite stable and has a lot apps available. The Experia Play is an Andriod, but it is probably better for gaming because of it's gamepad, plus it's Playstation certified.
As for the Andriod Gingerbread or whatever, I have never used it before, but it looks decent from what I've seen of it.
And I really want it to have internet browsing capabilities.

I can run Blockland perfectly. It's other games that I have issues with, in particular, Minecraft. Can anyone tell me what I can buy to make my computer faster? Thanks!

General Discussion / Worries of a key revoke

Today I was playing Blockland with my friend, but he doesn't have Blockland so he had to use my key. When we were done playing Blockland, he had to go home... I said "OK, I need to get my key back now" And he said nope, and left with his laptop. I tried to warn him what he was doing, as it would make me REALLY pissed at him and neither of us could play BL. He didn't listen.

I'm worried, because I've heard that rapid IP changes could mean a key revoke. (Rapid IP changes would mean key "sharing," and Baddy doesn't like that)

So, do rapid IP changes REALLY cause a key to be removed?

In some TDMs I go to, they have a cool weapon buying system where you can spend your points for items in the TDM, then load them up later.

Suggestions & Requests / "Piercing" bullets?

Would it be possible to make "piercing" bullets? One bullet can go THROUGH a player and come out the other side? Is this possible?
