Okay, I'd love to find out why Greekgeeker was banned.
He was supposidly banned for 2 weeks for the reason "posting adult content", even though his last post was in Febuary of this year.

Badspot, would you mind showing the post of which he got banned for?

Off Topic / Computer's broken, need ideas for motherboard & case

I went out today to go to Fry's Electronics, bought myself a 1.5 TB HDD, 4 GB of RAM and a Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 processor. I shut down my computer and connected everything, and it turns out I confused the socket number for my computer, but it still fit and whatnot. When I put everything back together, I turned on the computer and all the fans turned on at full speed, indicating the processor has an error. I put back in my Pentium 4, and now, my computer won't do the self-test when it's plugged in, so it thinks the processor still has an error (it works in my moms computer just fine, though, and also the core 2 duo did the same thing on my moms computer but it still works with the P4). I'm gonna guess that the CMOS on my computer's screwed over. (Both of these computers are Optiplex 320's by Dell)

So now I need ideas for good motherboards, and good cases. The motherboard MUST have a Socket 775. I was looking at the following:

If you post pictures, please post small ones, my Wi-fi card is acting awfully slow in my moms computer.
Also, please look at outpost.com, as I don't really do online shopping and I can go to a Fry's Electronics and pick up the items.

I only have $300 left, so that's all I can use for a case and motherboard. I don't need some ultra-nice case, because cases with side-windows would be useless to me (desk has a place for the computer)

Off Topic / My aunt died today.

Really, this has been the worst month for my family. It's been death after death after death. At the beginning of February, my Great Grandmother passed away. It was a hard time for us, but we started recovering from it. Later this month, this week in fact, a wild cat that my grandparents took care of, died. She was 18 years old, so I guess it was her time. Now, however, just today, one of my aunts was found dead in a jacuzzi. Nobody knows what happened. My uncle pretty much hit rock bottom. It's actually sad, because my aunt was a drunk. However, two hours before she was found dead, my uncle was talking to her, and she actually didn't sound drunk. Anything could've caused this, whether it's heart attack to seizure or whatever.

If you live in Arizona, you may have seen it on the news that someone drowned to death today. That was my aunt.

Looking on the bright side, I'm gonna be missing school again for a few days to help my family set up for the funeral. So I guess it isn't all bad.

Help / Windows 7 gets odd latency on Bedroom/Kitchen

I just upgraded my Gateway M675PRR Laptop to Windows 7, and now I have a bit of an odd latency problem. Whenever I go outside on the map Bedroom/Kitchen and look at the house, I seem to get a very odd lag issue. The FPS drops down quite a bit, and whenever I move the mouse around, it seemed delayed. All my actions are really delayed and whatnot. I've been using this laptop to play Blockland for a while now, and it has never had a problem on Windows XP. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this.

JellyCar is a driving/platforming game for both iPhone and iPod Touch. The game is about driving a squishy car through squishy worlds, trying to reach the exit. JellyCar features soft body physics for all of the objects in the world. Also, your car can transform for a limited time to aid progression through the level.

The game has 23 levels, and is quite fun. It's like Loco-Roco, but you're a car.

I want to record a video of Half-Life 2, but I don't know of a good video game recording software. I don't want to go out and buy Fraps (or get it any other ways). All I want is a simple and free video game recorder.

Okay, I'm tired of seeing "LOL THE WORLD IS GONNA END" topics. It's not going to anytime soon, so stop saying it is. By the time the world ends, we'll be long gone. We have so many topics about this crap. The world isn't ending in 2012, the LHC is not going to make the world implode, the sun hasn't even come anywhere close to the White dwarf stage, and it will not for billions of years.

Horray, I got it, but I forgot that my new laptop has a faulty DVD drive, so I can't play it until I go home in 2 days. (Jan 2, 2009)

But yes, I got the Gold Edition, so I can't wait to get home now. Anybody else have it and mind giving me some reviews/tips?
