um what
it says it's incompatible with newer versions than wheezy and therefore :(
because I have jessie

...Jessie uses systemd.
Er wait, okay I'm dumb and can't interpret the things I read sometimes. I could've sworn MDM was available for Debian though...

okay but what website is it though. firefox doesn't have ads

Yeah, just want to confirm: did you actually set your Firefox home page to that? Because that's not what the default home page looks like at all.

You may want to try Malwarebytes for Mac, because there is always the possibility that you got something nasty, somehow.

I'm using debian with Xfce atm. my laptop is crap so lightweight desktop environments are good but otherwise I don't mind switching

I'd say try MATE.

I don't think this is right. As far as I'm aware the burden of proof is still on the prosecution. The defendant obviously has to establish facts in their defence, but that's in response to any allegations.

That's pretty much spot-on. However, since it would be a civil case, that burden of proof is much lower, whereas if it were a criminal case it'd be "beyond a reasonable doubt".
Please note I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice, this is just what I've learned

all of this old is getting ridiculous

My LED screen burnt in my browser buttons on the bottom.
The top is fine though.
Woo.

Give it a couple of hours, it'll go away. This happens with me all the time.

That's weird, I installed it on win8.1 and it ran fine, no issues at all

Do you have 4 GB of RAM or less?

compatibility mode?

Not needed, it works perfectly fine with the exception that it can't read how much RAM the system has
