My mother believes that the monitors are the actual computer; when I told her I intended to upgrade she demanded to know why I needed a new machine when I already had 3 computers. Needless to say, it's the only time I've really ever regretted having so many screens.

Another fun fact is that my parent's computer is in most ways superior to my own. My father asked me to spec out a build and he ended up getting the i5 750. I'm sadly still stuck on an old Core 2 Duo E6850.

I'm stuck on a Core 2 Duo E7400, it works fine for me.

I actually have the most powerful PC in my family, even my older brother's PC (built 2005-2006) has a single-core AMD processor.

That's pretty much the case with the car I'm getting.

This is almost what it looks like (if my mom described it to me correctly). It's not the exact one I'm getting, but I can't really get a picture of it.

I use Windows Vista Ultimate and Trisquel Linux 4.0 on my Desktop PC.
I use Windows 7 Home Premium and Trisquel 4.5 on my Alienware M11x.

Windows Vista has proven to be more stable than Windows 7.
Trisquel has proven to be more stable than any Microsoft-built OS I've ever used.

Actually, I lucked out on this car.
One of my uncles is unable to drive anymore (he's dying, poor guy), but he said that he only wanted $3000 for the thing (to put towards funeral costs), and since my parents were out to find me a new car, this is a good match for me.

He never drove it because obviously he isn't really able to drive it anymore, thus why it's in such pristine condition, has a low mileage, and the such.

I do have to admit though, if you look at my laptop (M11x), then look at the car I'm getting...then look at the 3 arcade machines in my room, you have basically every right to call me a "Money Man", even though I just lucked out on getting 2/3 of those things (the arcade machines and the car).

I might be getting a Ford Mustang LX (~1990) in a few days.

Completely pristine condition; 50,000 original miles; only downside is that it's a 2-door car, but other than that, kickass.
