I had the exact same Pentium 4 you had, it's not dual-core.
Plus, I got about 40 FPS on L4D (max'd out), and when I upgraded to a Core 2 Duo (2.8 GHz), I got 60+ FPS at all times.

You're not gonna be able to run it on that thing at all.

Intel Celeron 1.86 GHz Processor
1 GB of DDR2 RAM
Vista Home Premium (it shouldn't be on a laptop like that)
