Modification Help / Making a throwing dart. Help with the projectile.
« on: August 05, 2013, 11:03:01 PM »
So I'm making a throwing dart:

I have added armatures:

and the empties.  I'm going to base the script off of the T+T sticky grenade because it has a projectile that is the same as the held item and sticks to walls, two properties I want the dart to have.  How do I make a projectile of my dart?

Is this because I explained to you why your tee shirts wouldn't work well?

Keep the "Apply Events" button like events plus(?) had, that came in handy for eventing multiple bricks.

The "B" is too big in this, now that I'm looking at it.

These are what we need, advertisement stuff.  We can't do shirts like Muslim's until Blockland is more popular.  Minecraft can slap some obscure material on a shirt, and everyone would understand it, even non-minecraft players.  Blockland isn't profound enough to be putting former's avatars or the different sections of the forums on shirts.

Also, many forums have drama sections.

ehhhh, the first shirt is the best (though, and again I stress, the character really should be the default avatar so as to represent blockland to it's most basic form), but the other two are independent from the game and don't represent it very well.

Add-Ons / Re: Pixel Events - Open Beta

Really the only issue is that load pixel event's tendency to lagout the server.  I'll do some testing to see what might be the cause.

Too big on the shirt. OOO WAIT AN IDEA

One of those t-shirts with a pocket on it, with the B on the pocket.

So a shirt with a "B" over the breast?

So, this was my first drama I've posted, ever.  Does anyone know if posting these has ever actually worked?  I'm sure if someone well-known were to post a drama about someone, a good number of people would boycott said person's server, or viciously assault the player in every game, but has anything more aggressive than that ever occurred (like a ban from the game or a total ruining of someone's rep)?

Don't read this next bit if you don't give a forget about extra off-topic reading.

On a different note, just wanted to say I've been drama'd before, though it was toward my game name Blocky999 and it was about how I called someone a "whore", "starfish", "puss stuff", etc. when he continued to kill me with his RPG in a TDM server.  I have developed two ways of typing: my 'TDM' typing and my typical typing, the latter I use here.  I would like to proclaim my own opinion on how one should do TDMs (completely off-topic, and this is more of advice for people.  Also, I feel like doing it in my TDM way of typing, not my typical way of well thought out and carefully worded passages).

Don't ever god damn RPG, ever.  That is just tacky.  I like to use the teen RPGnoob.  Don't close combat snipe.  Just no.  The gun was not made for that.  Pistol spammy (rapidly shooting the pistol) is fine, but only when it is the only gun available.  Close combat grenade is a nono, for obvious reasons - unless of course you just want to richard around, then it is fine.  Only shotty in close combat, unless it is in a tunnel where you crouch, then it is a nono.  All of this is based on dense logical thinking and actual experimentation.

Why in the hell did I go completely off-topic?

I felt from the begining that you might have a 'personal' connection somehow. You know, considering the passionate rants out of almost loving nowhere lol

Yup.  I've done this in the past, Master's grammar attracts a lot of negative comments.

Modification Help / Re: My Bricks that I made it.

This right here. Why? Why did you ever bring this up?
Believe it or not, the majority of us are from english speaking countries, and this probably includes the OP in this thread.
If someone's post is terriably spelt or makes no effort towards using grammar I'm going to assume it's due to lazyness.
And when I do so, I don't give two forgets that there might be a person or two on the forum who happen to not have english as their first language. When and if that's a problem they'll probably tell us.

Ethnicity, language, and disabilities were all example of reasons why people might have trouble delivering their primary issue.  It was not to only pertain to these forums, but to the Internet an life in general. Assuming someone is lazy is a god awful way of dealing with people, and will absolutely lead to major issues in the future.  Imagine: you see a hobo on the street.  Due to your logic, this starfish is lazying his way around paying taxes, living off of what other people pay.  Thing is, this is typically never true for their primary reason.  They are usually previously-upstanding citizens who fought wars and returned battle-scarred and traumatized, have been laid off due to the economy recently, or are depressed enough to turn to being a hobo.

You cannot assume that someone is lazy when it at first appears to be laziness - ever - and you cannot carry out actions that reflect your belief that they are lazy - situations can turn awry that way.

I brought up that little snippet because that is what you guys were doing in your first comments about the OP's grammar

I figured out to make a Custom Brick and I model it with Blender.
My Project Brick:
6 Light Bulbs Bricks it only on 2x2 brick size.
-snip-
So what you think?

See ^this^?  It's the OP, the one people complained about (minus the image).  Allow me to fix it to have correct grammar (except for capital letters because only words are needed in order to understand a sentence in this case).

I figured out how to make a custom brick, so and I modeled it with Blender.
My Project Brick:*
The 6 Light Bulb Bricks it are only on in 2x2 brick sizes.
-snip-
So what do you think?

*Project brick is technically correct grammar because "project" is acting as an adjective, though "brick project" is also correct grammar.

Now how many additions/deletions did I make (voiding substitutions because most of those were just me being pricky about grammar)?  Very few, and the corrections I did make were only tense and the addition of prepositions.

As far as I can tell, everything in this has already been released as public add-ons.

But not together.  He is combining them all so there wouldn't be incompatibility.
