Drama / Re: "Isar Need Your Help" my ass.
« on: January 13, 2011, 10:57:38 AM »
This whole ordeal is pathetic, I realise this could be said about most drama topics but this just happened to spark my attention considering it has two topics.

Sheath/IcyGamma, if your Isar tower project thing only survives because of the attention it receives from the Blockland community then you're doing something wrong. If attention is your only driving force then welcome to Drama, you're in the right place. I personally would be proud if anything I created was being saved and traded around because it means that it was good, builds stagnate if they aren't shared (just look at the USSR Afghan build, that still is used today). You could always have avoided this by building in single player or locking your server, you've been here long enough to know what some of members are like.

Night Fox, I don't have much to say about you other than this topic was completely pointless, you just wanted to spark drama and you did. Well done.

Enjoy your Dexter-Mandarkesque slapfight. I spent a good few minutes looking for one on google but it's not worth the effort.

I find that quite disturbing. Having kids at x-19 seems just...

I can't find the word for it. But I actually doubt you have a kid.

It wasn't planned and I'm not here to prove my fatherhood as it has very little relevance to topic, so that's all I will say on that behalf. There's a picture of her in Post your Pictures thread if you're really curious.

In her defense, at the moment I don't exactly have a job that is fit to support a kid and she's scared that I will be a deadbeat dad and she wanted to know if I would be able to step up and do what I need to do as a man to take care of my kid. She's only trying to protect the interest as far as the child is involved. I can't blame her at all. Granted, she could have gone about it in a totally different way, but she felt that shock therapy was the best option.

It's a rather archaic view of things on her part, I personally would much rather have a frank discussion about such a thing. I can understand the appeal and the extreme results that 'shock therapy' would have but when you're dealing with children you have to be more sensitive.

Disregard, she was trying to test me to make sure I wasn't going to be a deadbeat daddy.

I agree with Otis, what the forget. God damn women, shes going to have your child, are you sure the relationship is mature enough to handle it if she's still testing you?

Congratulations. I am a father myself and its certainly a unique feeling, for me it is very humbling and almost a kick in the face how human I am. I wish you the best of luck.

Been ages since I did this.

Hat reveals to show:

I wish somebody would collect up every image I posted in this thread just in one post, it would be a timeline of my teenage years.

EDIT:

First picture I ever posted here, when I was 13. I am 18 in the mohawk pictures.

Third person view, then hold Z and you can turn your head.

This isn't a leaving thread, I never technically left. I just stopped posting.

Isn't Terror the one that posted pics of him in bed with a guy and pics of himself in make-up? That is all I remember about him.

Ah yes, my hillarious college years.

As much as I appreciate the sentiment it's a pretty useless topic ( however the same could be said about 90% of Off-Topic posts), please lock this.
