IntroductionFace of Mankind is a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) Action RPG in a single persistent universe. You will control a single character in the science-fiction game world.
Once installed on your PC you will have access to an ever changing game environment via your internet connection. Thousands of players throughout the universe co-operate, compete or co-exist in a realistic and futuristic world of the 24th+ century.
The skill and luck of the players from rival factions change the balance of power. Players have full control over their gaming experience by creating their own rules, faction hierarchy and story.
The objective of the game is to evolve your character to its ultimate potential, whether that is the accumulation of wealth, power, social status or all three.
Factions Eight factions make up the fabric of the society. Each faction can bring a different atmosphere to the game whether by war, control of a colony and its mines or undermining prices on the market.
Factions are led by a leader who is elected by their members and who uses their abilities to take colonies, make deals with other factions to help control the market or hire out as mercenaries. Individual players are citizens of the Dominion, banded together in their factions they become a force to fear.
Background StoryBy the end of the 22nd century, the overcrowding of Earth’s cities, the growing drain on natural resources, and the memories of recent violence caused mankind to desire new and remote locations to start their lives over again. The International Space Administration’s colonization efforts provided the perfect solution – distant havens for hundreds of thousands of Earth’s citizens to take up residence. As colonization efforts spread and the Vortex-Net brought humanity to the stars in ever-greater numbers, mankind’s footprint became more noticeable on a galactic scale.

In FOM you have a set of objectives, you get an amount of XP, FC (Faction credits) and somtimes removes PP
FC cant be spent on anything, the way the payouts work goes like this.
The FC made by all the faction members collects into one big pile, then you are giving a certain amount depending on what percent of the overall faction credits were earned by you.
So if your whole faction gets alot you get alot too.
There are also groups, these consist of more than one person and the objectives are usually bigger but usually with alot of people it can be done fast and usually have more payout but only if everyone works well in the group.
Penaltys
There is alot of freedom in this game so if you want to kill a guy because he danced infront of you you are free to do so but there are Penalty Points (PP)
Basically you shoot a guy who is a pure enemy or economic enemy you get less pp for shooting and killing him
You get alot more PP for shooting a guy from an allied faction or someone from your faction
Oh and a reminder about the faction killing faction
There seem to be more rouges about the game killing there own faction members, usually in LED, BoS, and the Mercs so watch your back.
This game is really fun and I highly recommend it.

Oh and one more thing, an area called Necars Field has alien monsters, its fun to go and hunt and you get immediate XP and FC but i only recommended going in a group, its very dangerous going in alone
