Game Modes / Base Raiders [v0.2.1]

Base Raiders

Basically in Base Raiders, the goal is to get more money, a better base, and to destroy everything everyone else has. You make/join a gang, find an empty building and start your base there, build printers to print money, buy bricks and weapons to defend your printers with, and/or raid other people.

There might still be a bug or two that I forgot about. Post here if you find one.

Someone posted a save a long time ago of a hole bot that could complete mazes. The download for the save no longer works and I wanted to know how it was done or if anyone has the save.

Modification Help / Red to Another Color [Solved]

I need help figuring out how to smoothly transition from red to any other color, using 0-1 RGBA values. It'll always start at 1 0 0, with the alpha depending on how damaged the player is. And then it needs to transition to any other color, even the alpha. The time that it has to transition is also based on how damaged the player is.

Modification Help / Hole Bots [Solved]

I haven't worked with hole bots much, so I figured other people have.

I'm looking to spawn a bunch of hole bots or at least a bunch of bots that use the hole bot behavior system.
Is it possible for all of the bots to share a single brick or to spawn them without a brick or to create fake bricks to spawn them with?

General Discussion / [BUILD CONTEST] Zombie Map (Kobewarrior WINS!)

I'm holding a building contest for a Black Ops styled zombie map. It starts today and goes on until April 14th. The prize will be a Blockland authentication key(if there's enough interest in this then I might make that the runner up prize and have the prize be a steam game of $15 or below).
I might bring in a couple more judges later and/or put the best builds up to public voting.

Rules
You can either make one of the zombie maps from Black Ops(except for Nacht der Untoten and Nuketown because they're too small), or you can make your own map in the style of the Black Ops zombie maps.
Try not to use too many non-default brick add-ons.
You can use any colorset you want to.
Don't make the map too absurdly open.
If you're making a custom map make some wider open areas and some more enclosed ones.
Must be close to in-between 10k ish and 40k ish bricks. Exceptions can be made based on how good the build is.
Include unseeable spots for zombies to spawn and then walk into the map from. Include things like a window, hole, etc. for zombies to go through to get into the map.

Locks the main menu image to one image of your choosing.

Go to Options > Graphics and click the "Main Menu Wallpaper" button to choose the image you want. If you don't choose any image then the main menu will go back to being a slideshow.

onPlayerStuck

If someone is stuck in a brick when it reappears or stuck in a door when it closes, the onPlayerStuck input event is called, once for each player stuck in the brick.

This event doesn't work correctly with bricks that use DTS collision(like ramps and the default tree brick). Instead it will just use the bounds of the brick.

A DM where players are given specific weapons to use. Everyone starts out with the same weapon. Each kill with the current weapon will allow players to move to the next weapon; however, if a player is killed with the secondary weapon, they will be set back to the previous weapon. Get a kill with all weapons to win the game.

Use /gunList, /weaponList, or /wepList for a list of what weapon you get at each level in the minigame you're in.

If you change the number of weapon levels to a number above what it was at when the server started and above 20, then you need to restart the server for it to take affect. I had to do it this way because of how Slayer preferences work.

People wanted them. Don't know why. The model isn't that great.
I packaged them into one add-on, cleaned up the code, removed unneeded datablocks, and made the heal emote play when you use them.





Red potion heals 100.
Milk and chocolate milk heal 50.

It can either be used as a weapon(deals 150 damage), or it can be used to revive dead players.
You have to actually HOLD DOWN the mouse for it to fire. I don't know why, but most people don't get this.
This mod also makes dead bodies stick around until the player either respawns or leaves.

You can now save/load a player's items based on what team they're on. It saves and loads the player's items based on the name of the team they're in.
Requires Slayer.

Adds the events Player > saveItems_team and Player > loadItems_team.
