It makes it hard for him to delete threads or search for things inside of threads, because you search through threads by their name.

He will ban people for it occasionally. I think there is some other prerequisite for him to do it though.

they have a laser tower? well bring as many soldiers as you can
and if you fly (ominovores with wings are the greatest ever) fly until you get to the tower and enter quick
also prepare to say hello to a turret gunner in the doorway
