Listen to all the prologues for all of them. Each race has a special bonus.

Gallente-Liberals who have an extremely good bonus with drones.
Amarr(what I am)- Can use lasers and generally have ships with loads of armor.
Minmatar- Their ships literally look like crap but have extremely good dps with autocannons.
Caldari- Bonus for shield tanking and missile launchers. the newest race in the game also inherits favoritism by CCP, the Developers.

each race has different ships but you're not limited in anyway. for instance, I am Amarr But i specilize in caldari, minmatar, and amarr ships and guns.

If I were you, Vegetarian Zombie, I would go towards the mission-side of EVE rather than mining. You can make money faster and it's more fun than sitting afk 80% of your time watching a laser shoot a rock IMO.

Imma try the trial and see where it all goes from there
Ok good luck. just remember: if somone takes your can (you'll know what i am talking about) DO NOT engage them. let them take it. it's not worth shooting them and trust me you won't win. :/

I know; I was being sarcastic. The point of my post is that EVE has been in existance since 2003. It is 2011 and I still see no sign of any unintelligent, immature pilots. This isn't world of warcraft. The chance of it being free or "full of idiots" is never going to happen.

It was going to be PS3 and Xbox360 but like the morons they are, Microsoft declined their offer because they didn't want to partner up with Sony.

EVE is one of those games you can see in the future being free and full of idiots.

I want it. :C
Far from it actually. Only the smart/mature people stay to play eve after a trial because 1: 9 year olds cant afford it. 2. You need a brain because it's complicated. and 3.  you need patience. The EVE community is the best.

EVE is hard to get into. It's different than any game due to the fact that you actually need to think to play it. It all has to do with math all the time. or as the saying goes" In WoW, you are given a cookie and a pat on the back right as you start the game. In EVE-Online however, not only do they take your cookie, but they laugh at you for even bringing one."

started in '06 but i made a new account and its only lv 80 :( but i have about 20m cash (used to be 50m but i spent a lot of it on skills). I actually have to say my skills are pretty decent for a lv 80. atleast 75+ for all main skills not including slayer, farming, or dungeoneering.

Yes. EVE-online is just a space mmorpg based in 3rd person some-what. In the near future, DUST 514 will be the first FPS of it;s kind to be linked to a separate PC game simultaniously.

(First post woot!) Yes. Dust 514 is a little more complicated than just airstrikes. It's like playing age of empires but with real players on the ground. So you are controlling real people from the EVE-Online point of view. Depending on what you supply your Mercs with,(such as vehicles, weapons, auto-turrets, etc) it will effect the outcome of the battle. We (eve-online players) pay mercs (dust 514 players which also includes me) to gain control over planets in a real-time first person shooter.

Wait so I haven't been on in a week. I heard the Halloween event started(???). Is it good or just a waste of time? I really want to know so I don't have to log in and find out for myself.
