To be honest, you know nothing about the 3DS. I have tried it before, and the 3D is inward and it isn't the main appeal of playing the games. Besides that, they've made improvements to the game, such as turning some 2D elements 3D since the only reason they were 2D back then was for N64 limitations. They've added new gamemodes many say are amusing. But most of all, it's mobile with officially supported control setup, optimized.

It isn't stuff, you just don't like the idea of an advanced port. I believe it's like a lesser version of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition. I've heard about slightly improved graphics, 3D where there wasn't any, but they stayed true to the original game. Seriously, if you don't want it, fine, but it isn't stuff.

by 3D stuff i meant "3d stuff"
