wow slavery!!1!1

The to-be slaves object to their enslavement and begin rebelling in Shasta and Sonodine City.
Rebels break into the Constabulary armory and loot the firearms held within.

The constabulary armory is simply bombarded as rebels en-masse move towards it. In fact, most of the city is bombarded by now, and rebelling slaves are simply killed when they begin to resist.

Seeing the people of Sonodine not worth the trouble, walls war leveled and civilians are rounded up. If they don't resist, the are enslaved. If they do, they're killed. Cultural icons of Sonodine are seized where viable, and destroyed to lower morale.

I'm helping to raid Romek-Inen, but I'm not sending my people ALL the way to my allies' countries.

That's fair enough.

As soon as the threat of annexation occurs and those journalists arrive, a riot breaks out and they are in the midst of it.

Civilians find themselves being held off, and killed if need-be. The journalists are escorted out from the country, and reinforcements diverge on Sonodine to commence the siege of the city. Any civilians that are apprehended and not killed are prepared for slavery.

Will you be needing assistance when you march on Romen-Inen? I have many troops to spare.

Of course, and aid our allies in defending their capitol and lands.

Diehard members of the Constabulary begin counting the regiments and artillery pieces occupying Sonodine. They will embark by horse to return the message to Romek.

Citizens are restricted from leaving during the occupation. Any individuals who attempt to leave find will find themselves either shot down or imprisoned, and the rest of the civilian populace will be punished as well, with curfew instated, and food being confiscated and to be rationed back.

However, a few may be able to get through, but this will only infuriate the occupants more, and should they get out, will prompt reinforcements.

The more desperate the attempts, the more severe the punishments. Continued resistance will result in annexation.

Avalonian reporters request Conservatian and WDC permission to head to Sonodine to provide more up to date and accurate information on the war's happenings to the Avalonian people and government.

These reporters are permitted, but must be escorted by Conservatian soldiers to ensure no details are leaked.

Conservatian forces split, leaving a number of policing forces to remain in Sonodine to maintain order as the rest of their forces converge, preparing to begin a march for Romek-Inen.

We will not help you in the war. We are in no state to be warring. Our economy is in the abyss. We cannot.

Then consider my sparing you a act of good will, I advise you to not take it for granted.

The people weren't really 'oppressed' by Romek other than the freedom of religion was abolished (because of the outlawing and subsequent banning of Christianity) and the disbanding of the organized military at the time.

Other than that they actually HELPED Sonodine because they resolved the civil unrest and put down the rampant rebellions.

Banning Christianity seems pretty big. Even I didn't ban Christianity. Should you help in the war and be given independence, Conservatia will drill you in policing and maintaining order. Otherwise, you will be considered Romekkian and dealt with as such. Last chance.

The Bolt-Action Rifles, after being used continually for an hour, begin to simply fall apart after repeated use.

A week later, Arcon hears of this and stops production of the rifle.  The Conservatian rifles introduced to the Arconian arsenal are scrapped save a select few, which are to be inspected thoroughly for flaws.

Conservatian soldiers simply swap out for their older, and somewhat more powerful muskets. Volley-guns are now being deployed to the battlefield.

Upon hearing this, Conservatia begins looking into the problem, and as well as the possibility of maintenance, but puts it on hold for the mean-time.

Citizens panic in the capital of Sonodine City and the construction sites for the ports are abandoned. The Constabulary tries its best to keep order, instigating routine curfew times in case battle breaks out in select cities and issuing ration books in order to stave off hoarding.

Conservatia, rather than appealing to the government, appeals to the citizens to rise up from former oppression from Romek-Inen, saying that otherwise they'll still be considered a part of their patrimony and dealt with as such. They are offered to join the war effort once again, or the sieges will commence.

As Conservatia begins sending troops down, Armakhal begins full speed production of food for Conservatian troops. Sending down a few ships, Armakhal offers to work the supply chain with their own ships in order to have Conservatia focus fully on the war effort. Essentially, Armakhal is working the supply and distribution for the supplies of the troops whilst Conservatia would be performing military actions. This overdrive of supply creates demand in the nation and farms go into over drive to meet this goal. The amount of jobs created and the companies profiting from this war helps the small nation's economy bloom.

Conservatia accepts this offer.

Sonodine surrenders itself to Conservatia, clearly seeing they are a much better master.

This is a good choice. I'll grant you independence if you assist in this war effort.

Conservatia, after some diplomacy, gives Angloland a patent to develop their bolt action rifles at home, and officers are sent down to train their soldiers in operation of the firearms. The patent is also extended to Armakhla.

Conservatia officially declares war on Kyrev, Romek-Inen, and Grúzia-Nec.

Ships deploy to make temporary base of operations in between Izlandia and Arcon, dropping off men to create fortifications and establishing a supply train to perpare to head down south and along. Several regiments, including siege regiments, are deployed to push into Sonodine farmlands and commence a scorched earth method to ruin agricultural gains. Any civilians they come across are either killed or enslaved, sent to be shipped back to the homeland. Field artillery bombard villages as they go by, water supplies are poisoned, farms burnt down. Zamburaks do hit and runs on military patrols, firing and then riding away on camel-back whilst riflemen barrage them as they attempt to fire back, let them reload and continue as they begin a long march towards Sonodines capital.

And such is life.

I'm not blocking his expansion but I'm also next to the ocean.

Technically you are, but sure, you can have that land and I'll just pass you by.
