Conservatia will be willing to trade some muskets and horses, and along with your offers, we'd like some food as well. If Anglond is willing to let us trade through their cities, these terms are acceptable

pls let me trade with islam friends in your cities, thank

Perhaps if we made relations with the Anglond, we could establish trade through their cities. And if we were to trade, what would we trade. My people need rifles and horses, we could supply you with exotic silks & spices from the far east where my people came from, we could also supply you with cutlasses made of refined steel so your ranged infantry can defend themselves at close range. We simply wish to trade, we do not have specific needs, we have plans in which we can explain later, if we do end up forming an Islamic alliance.

Hearing that the nation of Conservatia is Islamic like the people of Xeichi, the Daimyo sends his three diplomats to their kingdom in hopes of an alliance or trade pact.

Conservatia, although enthusiastic to raise relations with another Islamic people, is hesitant and must deny due to the sheer distance of the two nations. However, should circumstances make that distant shorter, or should a large and safe road to enable a trading network be established, they'll happily accept a trade pact.

Arconian reforms of the military begin, starting with restructuring the military.  The Marshal and Admiralty Courts are formalized and are given power to prosecute criminal activity within the military.  As a result of intensive review, it is found that a good deal of corruption lied within the military, and as a result, many officers were court-marshalled.  Positions are being filled with individuals who have shown a record of integrity within the military.  Etiquette within the Arconian National Armed Forces, previously sloppy and variant, is reformed and codified.

The next reform is based on equipment, which has grown to be outdated and not standardized.  The Arconian military is interested in the Conservatian rifle, rumored to be an improved model.  The Arconian military sends word to Conservatia, wishing to have an explanation of the weapon and a demonstration.  Minister of War Lord Jacques Lespérance wishes to land a contract, hoping to obtain the arms, whether permitted through contracted production or by purchase.

Training in maintaining and repairing weapons becomes mandatory and more intensive.  All current active soldiers are given more rigorous courses and lessons on weapon maintenance.  Additionally, two sub-branches of the military are created, Engineers, those highly educated in weaponry and engineering, and medical, those highly educated in medical practices.  Women are permitted to enlist in the medical branches.

The final reform for this time is an improvement to training regimen, that has grown lax in the last decade.  Soldiers are drilled more intensely.  Officers are educated in military formations and supply management.  A hierarchical command system is being experimented with in order to determine whether a strong chain of command is favorable over absolute command by highest officers present.

Conservatia, seeing this an opportunity to improve relations, sends Arcon five hundred rifles for them to train with and distribute amongst themselves under the pretense that they are not to be sold or distributed to foreign powers, and that recreation of the firearm without express permission will not end well for them. However, they will additionally send some officers over to assist in the drilling and training of their military, to bring it up to Conservatian standards.

With the arrival of another Muslim nation to their south, (assuming they're accepted), an non-aggression pact and trade agreement is offered.

Muslim MA BOI YEA

After many years, the practically ancient city of Tell Kancioubar is declared a Islamic holy site. A grand mosque is completed within the center of the city, and lined with as many Islamic l artifacts that Conservatia has to offer. With this development Islam, and primarily its Sunni branch, is booming within the country, and beginning to leave the other religions in the realm in its shadow.

As a countermeasure to starvation, the spreading of diseases, and to boost productivity while maintaining a stable population, the Household Policy is put into enactment. A couple may have no more than 4 children, but must have at least one. At the age of sixteen(the age of adulthood), they are required to head and register at the ministry of occupation. There, they will be assigned a function that is relevant to their skills and in alignment with the requirements of the realm.

For Sunni families that practice polygamy, a household may consist of one man and a harem of three, with only two children.

Any children that are born that beak this policy are forfeit to the realm and the childs parents are fined (albeit not heavily), where they will be raised in an environment related to the government assigned function they'll begin upon adulthood.

You recruit 7 untrained footmen from Bohr. The village elder asks you if you would be willing to train the village's militia so as to be more resilient against bandit raids.

After hearing of tensions between the caliphate and Avignon, Giuseppe speaks with you.

Giuseppe Sforza: "Perhaps this is a chance for us to take--more specifically, for me to ascend to the Avignese throne. Lutece is like a ripe fruit, just waiting for us to pick it, and King Francis is like a worm, killing it from the inside. Do not forget why I journey with you, Emir."

The Tebessan investigation of the harbor explosion has come out with some damning evidence of an Avignese plot. Sultan Yusuf has issued a decree to King Francis: "I demand a levy of 50,000 gold pieces from your treasury and an explanation for your motives, otherwise I will have no choice but to bar your people entry and diplomatically alienate you."

King Francis responded: "I will save you the trouble--the Kingdom of Avignon formally declares war upon you foreign pigs."

The Masovian Empire, with their own grievances to air out, refuse their ally's call to arms and dissolve said alliance. Tsar Vladimir is quoted as remarking: "Francis has become volatile as of late, for reasons I've no idea. May the gods provide him aid, for I will not."

Emir Szczepanski: "I understand your enthusiasm to ascend your rightful throne, and in many cases I admire you for it- But along with this opportunity, a few others have arisen. Should we assist Tsar Vladimir, we would no doubt be able to gain his support in overthrowing Francis, and thus enlocking a preemptive alliance with the emperor. I believe that, if we let the conflicts continue for a short while and garner support, when we go in we'll have an overwhelming advantage against the enemy. This is in part why I am bothering to assist the small folk- to improve your name within these realms, and significantly boost your right to rule, to the point where the peasantry may take up arms in your name. Allow me to gather some men, and to gather further support for you, and then we will have Francis' head hang over the gates to Lutece, and you ruling the kingdom from a throne that is rightfully yours, my lord."

Agree to help train the villages militia, and drill them in the way of guerrilla warfare, traps, general warfare, and guiding enemies into said traps, along-side general training. Have your men assist in training, to boost their capabilities.

Turn these seven footmen into skirmishers, or an equivalent unit type.

Conservatian military engineers have developed a new firearm. It is expected to, within the next few years, go into military service; though it is not available upon the market for the time being. Further details may or may not be disclosed at a later date.
