However there is a problem. Using a normal brick for the pins, the ball would bounce backwards off of the pins instead of continuing through and knocking down more pins. A default pin brick would be necessary.

I would also personally love default basketball hoops, soccer goals, and goal post bricks too (with preset events).

Maybe a BLB basketball hoop with an OnMakeBasket event, or a soccer goal with similar events, and other stuff

1-here's a tutorial that helped me a bit-I need to go back and take another stab at it.
For me, coding is somewhat hard, I don't have much experience with it, but that up there helps me notice small things, and allows me to simply cut and paste lines and sections of code stripped from other addons. It's mostly modification here, then polishing up, the latter of which I have yet to do.

2.Blender is free, you must be getting milkshape. Here's a thread on it.

3.Where I get most of my sounds from(weapons and shiz, mostly.)

4.Big list of tutorials
Cgcookie tutorial on blender 2.50 and above
Cgtuts tutorial on blender 2.49(You NEED this to get models in blockland, and animations-it's a bit choppy, I'm gonna get a video in a few months from now.)
You've already got the coding stuff
And I think that's about it for now.
