While Ru'yeo is in a state of restoration and will not be able to contribute directly to the war, many ex-Arm of Bao elites are encouraged to aid the nation's OTA allies with the state providing their transportation costs and loans of supplies upon electing to serve as mercenaries on behalf of their nation's allies.

257
Which in places are categorized AM so it works.

What confuses things is it is not just an island though so its not full tropical, its an island pressed up against an eastern end of a continent right at the hemisphere which isnt common on our planet.

258
Well the most similar place terrain/geographic locationally would be the Indonesia islands

259
it says the climate of Florida but that doesn't imply its mountainous as I'd like to think since its somewhat relevant to Bolivia
The location of your island would create a strong summer storm system similar to the islands in the carribean, yeah the higher  mountains would less rainfall and actually be more similar to Central America/Yucatan penninsula Or perhaps the island of Sri Lanka but because of being in the middle of such a warm area the dry season would be exagerated during the winters which is what lends it to being classified as Tropical-Monsoon versus the mild/cold wet mountains you are suggesting.

I have several regrets on the climate map including not bringing it to such a high resolution to capture such silly microclimates, but also that I completely left out the Capurral climate (cold mediterranean) which is my favorite climate. (and currently near the ytsur empire/albhad / the new area galaumia just got on the west)

edit: plethorquote^
oh the military action is kinda slowing down:

Hwan Ghou Kai begins the process of electing local magistrates based on civillian vote in the areas still fully aligned with the new Ru empire many locals are calling "Ru'yeo".

Ghou thanks the neighboring nations who participated in the liberation effort with gifts consisting of a dividing of Gungxi's acquired wealth as well as a pledge to share with them access to the Kai college system in accordance to many of his demands on accepting the leadership of the nation (something he was personally extremely reluctant to do, but felt that he must given the support of his followers). He as well makes a promise to repay the wages of the soldiers who had participated in the combat over the coming years.

There are still alot of Gungxi followers scattered throughout various cities, however with most of the military beginning to pledge allegience to this new nation, it is deemed that foreign support is not needed in as massive of a scale any more, and the new combined Ruyeon forces should be able to handle the remainder of the transition into local district policing.

Many reforms are also promoted by the new leader of the nation, including a disbanning of Baoist rituals and the restoration of the annual Festival of Bao, however Neishah Bao had dissappeared after a major battle in Roussa and is presumed dead.

While personally Buddhist, Ghou declares the intention of the new nation to support the coexistance of philosophies in the nation, and that efforts to prevent persection between Baoists and Buddhists (and Muslims, whose population in the empire increased substantially with the inclusion of Teijina).

He commissions a new royal standard to be placed at the forefront of all the united Ru forces that in their liberating the people, the people can associate this symbol with their freedom.

Ghou has a message delivered to enemy soldiers during a temporary ceasefire at the walls of New Daijoua calling for an end to rule of Gungxi. While General Ghou would like to thank the soldiers fighting for standing up for what they believe in, he hopes they would see that their leader is commiting the same atrocities he once fought to avoid.
If they cannot see that then maybe they can at least see the futility of their struggle considering the foreign liberation forces are already well underway towards the city, three of Taijoua's cities had already fallen and things arn't looking so good for the remaining two. Soldiers that join along side the liberation force would be treated as if they were allies of the nation the whole time, but it is warned that men who side with the mad king would not be spared if they act violently.

Grumbles how that was the entire reason I incorporated Mahowaeaen as the polynesian stand in to represent the ability for my seafaring to reach the northern oceans but it was swatted down due to distance limits and made the entire concept of that tribe defunct not that it matters much anymore anyways since Mawahe is no longer under Ru control

During one major standoff with a previous friend, Hwan Ghou Kai discusses with the rival general that in exchange for his support, the general would be given the command of military forces upon the final reconstitution of the Ru nation.

Hwan Ghou Kai and his men come into a major confrontation as a main battallion of Taijoua military responds to the attack on New Daijoua. Naal Yeao Ru soldiers come in to the combat on the side of Ghou and with their best Kastwata archers unleash a volley of fire that would explode on impact, thanks to the secret substances developed by Kai in hiding and supporting to overthrow of Gungxi.

A quickthinking Naal Yeao Ru archer had ran out of arrows and had with him only his bamboo bow and some of the powder that the kai had been using to supply them with the incindeary arrows.
The rest of his band had been killed by a group of the Arm of Bao still loyal to the Taijouan Bao.
In his desperation he tore the ends off of the bows of his fallen comrades and poured the powder into an end of each bow. As the enemy troops began to approach he lit the tubes on fire causing deadly yet aimable bursts that saved him from his attackers and bought him time to escape.
And just so galaumia doesnt give me grief, science and science

Theres quite a few you can make at home.

If you have berries try making a jelly for them, its pretty easy just dump em in a pot with a bit of water and lemon juice and about the same amount in sugar, and cook over low for a while.

Homemade nuttella just roast some hazlenuts and remove the skins then blend them up and add a scoop of cocoa powder, coconut oil and some powdered sugar, and blend for a long time until smooth adding powdered sugar to lighten the flavor.

If you do the nutella you can then add some fresh brewed coffee that has been cooled down and some marshmallow creme and blend it together with a dash of vanilla, and served with the jelly on top with the rice cakes.

Note I tried this with homemade ricecakes and it was the best thing ever so if it doesnt come out right I am going to blame that you used storebought ricecakes

Due to the ease of victory, there is not much time required for his troops to recuperate, thusly allowing Hwan Ghou Kai  to leave a detachment to watch over the city while traveling eastward to New Daijoua where the Titchwahk rebels are already causing a slight degree of chaos. They primarily focus their beseigement of the west of the city in order to draw Taijoua forces to that side in defense.

Words so frequently misspelled by you guys they are in official posts misspelled sometimes. I just assumed there would be different translations of the phonemes due the dialects of regions which would account for general transitions of lettering and such things over time. I do apologize I keep thinking there is a u in there and I find it silly I get it wrong but if it helps just interperate it as the people pronouncing the word differently.

I would like to express that Avalonia is breaking the contact limit.

For being included in the OTC?
I am still annoyed at this land contact limit cause it is in complete essense bullstuff. There has never been a distance limiting factor over the length someone could travel so long as we had consecutive road systems. The fall of rome was triggered by monogolians from the far east, somewhere they had even ventured to in the past. The polynesians laughed at the currents and extended their trade routes all the way from madagascar to the west coast of south america (and even around into the carribean according to some historians)

The problem was they wanted to artifically create the age of exploration due to the misunderstading that their own landmass isn't the only thing there. And the fact is that this is due to the nature of our hemispherical world that such distinctions exist. If we grew up on a pangaia environment the entire breadth of human history would be substantially different.

Not to mention the age of exploration was a primarily western focused event which if we are trying to model the entire world and its cultures in a theoretical situation, we have to be prepared for things to not be exactly the same.

Also, going off-topic for a brief discussion here, but to Plethora and Ladios, the two programmers I am aware of here: How possible would it be to make an interactive map with java or flash or something, that could be easily adjusted by the Cartographers' Guild?
Its honostly something ive been interested in for a while but I have alot of irons in the fire and am currently programming a thing, but when I finish my first version of my game I can tackle this if Pleth hasn't done it yet.But thinking about it and this could be a good demonstration of the ui in my engine if I can get the whole applet in browser thing working

After the overthrow in Ru'sha, Hwan Ghou Kai leads his men to Old Daijoua, the sight of his prevoius excellent beseigment of the town under the previous unification wars. Due to his experience, he is able to lead his troops into the city with barely any casualties and attemps the same maneuver of forcing out the local Gunxi-supporting forces in the absense of the primary military defending the city.

269
Hwan Ghou Kai and his men wait to start the assault on Ru'sha until recieving word of the capture of Teijina and the departure of the primary Taijoua military towards the southeast. With various portions of Ghou's forces stationed throughout Ru'sha the Taijoua Gaurd currently in the city are unable to determine a specific direction of attack.
Ghou's soldiers march through the alleyways and sidestreets of the town, pushing the guards out into the open of the avenues, until a large portion of troops are surrounded in the center of Ru'sha and a demand given for them to either abandon their support Gungxi, leave the city, or face death.

Teijina Militia and Naal Yeao Ru forces overtake the capitol in Teijina city and release a statement declaring an end to the rule of Gunxi over the Ru and the intention to establish a government not controlled by religion, but by the people.
