« on: June 05, 2010, 11:45:23 PM »If I remember hearing correctly in interviews with Game Developers, Game Developing colleges are basically only there to build a portfolio. They don't give you any special qualifications, it just helps you have stuff to present and hope they accept you.The good schools will give you important connections, as just as it is in any entertainment thing, it matters more who you know than what you know.

to go further
a = b thus

Once you divide by zero its over, you forgeted up.

The concept thing for a steampunk minigun type thing. Shoots lightning or something, not entirely sure yet.
Could be much better, messed up on the geometry a bit there but ah wells.
btw, I renamed the topic to something a bit more fitting
If ya'll remember this, I finally made the 3D model version of it in Maya.
I have no intention on porting this over for Blockland, btw.
Also, after cleaning up the model, I managed to get the triangle down from where they are at 2100ish to 1900ish.

Time hasn't progressed between portal 1 and 2... relative to the rest of the world.
The combine created a very slow teleporter, what happens if the entire research facility up and went just like the Borealis's drydock, the difference being that when it teleported through space, even if it was only a few feet, it would appear in the future, but in a reverse time dilation thing so that instead of an instantaneous transit from view of the facility, its instantaneous from the rest of the world?
Sort of like stopping time I suppose.
