« on: September 25, 2010, 03:16:50 PM »Why even bother with rtb? You can just close the game, go on the forums, search for the file, wait the 40 seconds for mediafire, download it to your add-ons folder and then restart Blockland. It's no trouble at all!
RTB is a convenience. You're paying for convenience. Going to the store to buy a usb drive and then remembering to save all your files regularly is an inconvenience. Regardless of your personal feelings on the matter, other people are willing to pay for this apparently.
Allright, not the response i would expect...
RTB is a HUGE convienence, and putting all my personal opinions aside, would you have access to the saves? i dont think anyone would want to pay to get storage, only to have their saves stolen.
nonetheless, someone who will (quote) happily pay $100 a month for the server (unquote) and not accept donations is obviously very generous, and you deserve money for what you do.

-Share with your friends with only a few clicks! No need to use an internet browser.start a passworded server, load the build and have your friend save.

I'd also be fine with paying a $5-10 one-time fee, $10 being the most, Ephi deserves the money, but with so many people donating, lets say even 70, that would be $700. Plenty of money!
Also, why would we need to store the saves on the rtb server?
My blockland is around 650MB, and I have around 70-100 saves, all with screenshots. + lots of add-ons im testing, scripts, and also around 50 megashots.
But, i mean if it comes WITH it anyway, then sure.

Using audacity I turned a .mp3 file into a .ogg and mono'd it, But when I put it in the music foulder it did not show up on the music list, what did I do wrong / Was I supposed to do?

with this, you dont have to be admin to actually OPEN the gui, and you can ban any id, not just the ones in the list. just enter their blid in the player name/blid box, along with the time for the ban, and reason then press ban. along with mute, kill, and loopkill.
