first of all fair use is a copyright thinghere's the thing: there's absolutely no legal precedent that prevents you from modifying an executable file you legally buy, and any company that actually pursues that legal precedent would be absolutely destroyed by the pure hate of the internet crushing down upon them
second you agree when you install the software to not reverse-engineer it, and for that very reason
In my experience I've found that the asses that make posts like this are usually the ones that start the derailing.Thanks for calling me an ass completely unprovoked. That is all.
kompressor is satanIt was once said that satan will be the one to cast shadows across the lands.
Explain.your lie was in claiming this is actually news
sure that might sound like a awful ideaexcept it's not
but if that is one way to do it
then why not do it
probably shouldn't be bragging about your software successfully erasing evidence for an FBI searchThe software is open-source and up for grabs online. It's not his fault that it was used for the purpose it was used for.
Couldn't the developers sue steam then because steam is breaking their own legal policy.Uh, no. Do you know what their policy is? Because there is no legally-binding text for it. They can offer refunds whenever they want. Don't talk out of your ass, tony.
Clear violation lol.
Oh nice, though as im still steadily learning, im not too sure how to implement this. I did give it a few trys. I found a topic you had created in the past, but it didnt go into enough detail for me to understandNo problem. What you should do is, when a player clicks to open up the zoom/ironsights, you first store their current fov in a client variable. something like %player.client.storedFOV = x;

Could you elaborate a bit more on how i would implement these? I use WeaponImage::OnMount() and WeaponImage::OnUnMount()
