Should I enable or disable non-critical windows 10 options?I'd say disable it for good measure, it won't harm anything.
why does it matter if they take information? I get disliking having less privacy can feel stuffty, but really it doesn't affect you that much.Because they're trying to take my personal information without my consent. That is not okay under any circumstances. Imagine if the local police force gave you a 1 weeks notice saying they were going to install security cameras in your shower and bedrooms, which they could access and even give footage to other people for any reason. Even if you completely, totally trust the police, it's still an insane invasion of privacy that leaves you completely vulnerable. (Don't take that too literally, it's an brown townogy. The point is, your digital privacy rights are the same as your real life privacy rights.)

actually it would be funny as hell if everyone's name turned into Rotondo for the day. Nobody would know who was whoThis would actually be really cool but it would require a lot more than just a skin change :(
Upgrade, it's better.Stop with this stuff already. You're not helping, he obviously doesn't want it.
Actually, if they state it then it's not spyware. They have your consent when you accept that stuff.Oh please, maybe from a purely legal standpoint but the percentage of the population that actually reads privacy policies and fully understands them is so small I could probably count them on my fingers.
if you think windows 10 is spyware you need to re adjust your tin foil hatFrom their privacy policy:

It's by definition spyware. It's sending information from your computer to a server without your consent. There are things it sends even if you 'turn all the privacy settings'.This as well.
Now, I'm not saying it's sending any information with malicious intent, but it's till by definition, spyware.
The real issue though, probably isn't Microsoft getting this data. If Win10 is allowing this data to be sent without any consent, then malware could just as easily redirect this information.
I'm pretty sure Win10 is an operating systemI'm well aware that it's an operating system, software can have more than one classification.
Unstumpable. But this doesn't have anything to do with "stumping." It's just him saying that he won't fire his staff member. It's not even news at this point; nobody ever thought that he would actually get fired.
viewing =/= downloadingDo explain how you're supposed to view the video without downloading the information about the video
