Add-Ons / Re: Blockland Glass Chat Recorder

Global variables in blockland are sort of in a fringe between technically not possible and entirely reason
like, no, you're not supposed to have any sort of special characters like spaces or parenthesis in a global variable. It's invalid syntax. But put it in the square brackets and it's totally valid. W0t. But then you realize that a global variable is really, internally, just a named pointer to some piece of data, and that name can be literally anything, and then it's okay.

You can stop doing drugs, but the drugs wont stop affecting you. Much like how tobacco users end up with long lasting side effects, other drugs have similar results.
That's just bad science, plain and simple. Tobacco, Alcohol, Marijuana, etc don't make you "former husks of yourself" decades after you've stopped using them, at least not in the way that you mean. Sure, tobacco causes cancer and alcohol damages the liver but cancer or liver diseases don't make you a "living husk of your former self." That's all in the psychology. They can have lasting psychological effects, but that is more than treatable with both psychiatric help and counseling. What evidence do you have to suggest that it is never, ever worth it to give these people the mental health help that they need to get better?

You're free to take my statement to fully autistic levels of scrutiny, or you can be a normal person and understand it was made in the context of the healthcare discussion we've been having for the last several pages.
Note that I'm not throwing around insults here, I'm just telling you the consequences of your statements. If you don't want those consequences from your statement, then you need to actually state what you mean instead of making sweeping generalizations about taxation and hoping that unwritten subtext comes through clear as day. Saying that kind of stuff doesn't help anyone, but having an intelligent discussion does.

They aren't.
They dont help society by being lazy bums, breaking the law and spreading this plague to their friends
So when do you resurrect all the people you killed when Marijuana becomes legal

either they're planning on introducing a new line of animation framework and redist after this or they lost a lot of money
i'm thinking they might but they also might not, we have html5+js for any sort of interactive. It's just in very specific circumstances this can't work, like if you want people to be able to upload custom interactive games... Remind you of any particular sites?

You're equating taxing to ensure the function of a government to taxing to ensure everyone has a commodity.
No, I took what you said, which was, and I quote, "trying to force other people to pay for other people's stuff," and told you that that is literally what taxes are
You are paying for government workers salary, for example. That is "other people's stuff." You are being forced to pay for other people's stuff right now. Someone probably used some of your tax money to buy a blow up doll or a hooker. The direct implication of your statement was that this "paying for other people's stuff" is bad and you wish for it not to happen.

For that to occur there has to be no taxes, and if there are no taxes there is no government. At all. That is literally anarchy.

852
I don't know why you guys are so insistent on
A. paying for other people's stuff and
B. trying to force other people to pay for other people's stuff
You literally just dismissed all forms of taxes
Enjoy your anarchy

traveling forward in time is time travel, and it does exist and has been proven to work under certain circumstances
we're literally time travelling right now at one second per second, it's absolutely amazing. technology has come so far

Off Topic / Re: where did you get your special interestes
« on: July 25, 2017, 09:01:02 PM »

totally spies

this show

this loving show

this show is the definition of special interest fuel and it was on literally all the time at my house
almost every single episode catered to a different special interest, whether that be bondage, hypnosis, scantily clad women in full-body skintight latex catsuits (which is pretty much what they wear the entire show), you name it.
