Suggestions & Requests / Re: need builds
« on: August 07, 2010, 12:20:53 AM »
What exactly are you asking for? I can't tell if you want ideas for a zombie game to make yourself, or if you want someone else to make a zombie game for you.

If it's the latter, I can pretty much assure you it won't happen.

If it's the former:

House
Mansion
City
Airport
Large office building
Military base

Why should he, are you one of those handicapped Americans that still think Germans are national socialists, or are you just tribal to begin with?
No... he's simply pointing out that that was unnecessary and irrelevant to the topic.

This would come in extremely handy.
I do not support. Just use events, as GeneralSkar said.

That is not unlike the pencil one.

Except, just as there is a Planck length of space, there is one for time. Like a frame.

Space and time have discreet chunks. Weird, huh? Kind of what you would expect if you were in a computer...

you know. the pinnochio one isnt a paradox.

if he says "my nose will grow"

hes talking future tense, so...
it means his nose WILL grow.
not nessecarily as soon as he says that sentence.
But wouldn't saying "My nose is growing" repeatedly achieve the same effect?

That was uncalled for.

You can't "Change" it. Only make a new topic in the correct section.

Actually, it well never reach a perfect 1.  But this makes sense, since two nuclei of an atom never touch, they're only bound or repelled by electromagnetic forces and stuff.  So basically, it never touches the ground, but hovers slightly above it.
Along the same lines, the pencil one is incorrect. There's a thing called the "Planck length". It is the minimum distance and cannot be divided. It's like a pixel.

As for the number thing, it will NEVER reach 1. NEVER. It will only approximate it. It goes on infinitely getting infinitesimally close but never reaching it.

It's understandable when they bump it because it has good content, but some people constantly bump spam threads, or threads without value.
Oh yeah. In those cases the bumper gets yelled at. Don't do that.

lets just get back on topic
Let's not. You should lock this and make it correctly.

As was said, it should go in suggestions and requests, and you broke rule 1. Read the rules and the descriptions of the threads.

When you're new, it's not a good idea to go patronizing senior members.

Wat?

I tried working it out and I got that the above rectangular space was 3X5 while the lower was 2X8. 16-15=1. But how'd that happen? I see that the squashed rectangle has a greater area due to the dimensions, but as it says, where'd the hole come from?

We don't mind unless they do it more than three times, only doing so to bump a topic
Well sometimes you WANT to bump the topic. Say for a suggestion that you think deserves more attention.

Generally, modify if you can. It avoids the topic altogether.

Not really. You guys are just making him innocent since he's new but it clearly says READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING when you press forums.

Apparently telling someone that they just broke the rules is ban worthy. Either way that isn't for you to decide.
I'm not clear on what rule he broke. One sec-

Ah, rule 10. I don't see that one come up much. Is a single post considered "Spamming"?

Generally people don't like it when you double post...

I did read the topic and it was just a horrible idea, its like just as stupid "Lets make a thread of contradictions"
If it's so horrible, why does it have 5 pages in just a few hours? There seems to be some interesting discussion going on here and it's quite interesting imo. If you don't like it or if it hurts your head, you don't have to read it.

That's not a paradox.
It's still funny. And I think this was the original:
