Off Topic / Traumatizing stuff.

Going to blog here a bit if you dont mind. Though it might seem pathetic, stupid or anything else to you just will prob feel good to share what Im feeling haha.
Warning this may be a little disturbing to some of you to be warned

I take care of my neighbors animals when they leave. So they have goats, chickens, rabbits and creepy bird things (what I call them).

WELL a few weeks back I had to take care of these animals. BUT what my neighbor and I didnt know was that some of the bunnies were pregnant. So these rabbits had there babies overnight and what I discovered in the morning was pretty gross. Warning. These babies were born in a cage without a nesting box and ended up being mutilated, some even decapitated. I was so disgusted that I asked my dad if he could clean it up. Anyways I go home and come back the next day later to find MORE dead rabbits that are also mutilated and cut in half.

Fast foward a couple days and now Im having constant nightmares about this. Like a couple nights ago I dreamed about goign to my neighbors and finding the goats have worms and leaches coming from their heads and there are giant black maggots all over the ground with a pile of dead baby bunnies. Then last night I had a dream about going to my neighbors who now had lizards. The lizards had started to eat themselves and it was very gory.

So yea, theres a little blog.

Help / Way to rearranged bricks and make new icons in selector?

Isn't much of a problem more of an annoyance. I downloaded some brick packs and such and they either 1) don't have icons 2) aren't in the order Id like them to be
Is there a way to make icons for bricks and to rearrange them in the brick selector to get them into the order I'd like?

Off Topic / Got my PSAT results back.

So got my PSAT results back from this year.
Scored a 64 in Critical Reading. 71 in math and 60 in writing skills. Fairly good but now i have to take the real thing lol
Anyways I was probably in the 95th percentile for juniors at my school.

wish I could have done better at writing skills but its still ok.

So every month I like to check the forums stats and such and take a look this month. Only 69k posts but we had 1600 online at once. How? i have no idea

Kinda crazy I never thought we'd beat the 600 online set awhile back

Off Topic / Youtube Profile Picture and Channel Banner.

Would anyone out of the goodness of their wonderful heart be willing to make me a profile picture and channel banner for my youtube channel? My channel is called Black And White and one idea I had was making one side black with the word "Black" in white and the other side white with the word "White" in black, with the "and" being in between and half of it being in white and the other in black. So inverted colors.

If anyone would be willing to make me a banner and profile picture I would love you forever. :)

Off Topic / Worth trying to start a youtube channel?

Well I was getting everything set. Got my channel and emails all set up. Custom music being made and was planning on buying a PVR this week. I'm hoping to start a youtube channel with some friends just making videos on a bunch of different games. Im second guessing myself right now. Dont know if I should postpone or what. I have no doubt we could make some decent videos but dont know if Im quite ready to shell out $150 for a PVR.

Off Topic / My parents will not stop bothering me.

The backstory:

Over the summer I herniated a disc in my lower spine. It caused a lot of pain in my back and my legs making me unable to participate in football for the first few weeks. I slowly started making my way back but one day while doing contact I got hit and I had the pain all again. I finally started going to physical therapy and was back into football. I was doing fine and played a couple games. Then one game near the end I was thrown and landed pretty hard on my back and legs. The pain was back and I played a few more plays but was limping around. So I sat the rest of the game.

While the big rival game is coming up on Wednesday and I've made the choice, along with my coaches that it would be best for me not to play. My parents now will not stop. Everyday they ask me if I practiced and I say no. They think its the biggest mistake I've made in my life. My dads says "Oh you made a commitment to the team and you should play even if youre limping" I've told them that I know exactly whats going to happen. Ill go to practice, the pain will come back, Ill get in like 2 plays then Ill be out for the rest of the game. My dad thinks that I dont want to play anymore, which I do but they dont understand how hard it is for me either. The dad also says that Im "Looking out for myself when I should be looking out for the team"

Anyways they keep on bugging me to play saying that my decision is wrong and makes them "sick to their stomachs". I think Im making a smart decision to not play. Im still in pain currently and think it would be stupid. They think that Im going to be super regretful down the road.

TL;DR Parents want me to play on Wednesday with my injured back and I told them it wouldnt be a good idea.

So my mom has been asking me for some Christmas lists and stuff so I started placing items in my wishlist on Amazon.
I put a $40 USB Microphone that I was looking at because soon Im going to start making some youtube videos. While just the other day I found a way to just use my xbox headset to record audio.

My mom placed the order yesterday and now I have a $40 microphone coming that I dont want or need anymore....

Off Topic / Room Reno; Man Cave Edition.

This past Friday I had my party and its usually just a small group of friends (All Blocklanders too) that just hang out at each others houses and play video games and such.

Anyways I dont really care for my current gameroom/man cave set up because it doesnt optimize space and its not really a great place to hang out. I dont have a lot of seating when my friends come over.

Its a rectangle room approx. 14' 6" by 15' 6"
It has outlets on two ways, the ones pointed to by the arrows. The other two walls have concrete behind them.
The boxes on the walls represent the doorways.


This is one of the concrete walls. The room in the back is currently clothe storage and washroom. Soon to be a bathroom. I also have no idea why there is a t-shirt in the window...


Here is one of the walls with the outlets. I have an unfinished cieling.


The other outlet wall. My TV usually isnt in the corner, its usually pushed up against the wall.


The other wall with concrete behind it. The thing is I like my weight bench but it takes up so much space and I cant currently use it due to my drum set being right there


Things I'd like to do so far

• Close ceiling with sheetrock
• Paint walls
• Get a new carpet
• Get a new TV and stand
• Get more seating such as beanbag chairs or couch
• Make sound proof panels as decoration and function
• Figure something out with the weightbench
• Maybe some new lighting

Was thinking about painting the walls a light grey color with some black sound proof panels

Off Topic / 2nd string quarterback suspended.

So our first string quarterback is out with a dislocated elbow. Our 2nd one was just suspended for 2 days because he beat the crap out of some loser.

Heres the story. Between our 1st and 2nd class we have a 15 minutes break called advisory. Now me, the 2nd string quarterback (We'll call him Jerry), my friend (Call him Eric), and my other friend Nick were all just hanging out. Jerry has this little thing that can make these fart noises. So Eric takes the fart thing from Jerry and is standing just outside the door. This group of 3 kids who are a bunch of losers walk by. Eric takes the fart thing and makes a farting noise. So one of these losers says "loving monday", because Eric is black. So the losers walk away and then come down back down the hallway a few minutes later. Eric makes the farting noise again and this time one of the losers spits on him.

So we head to our next class and Jerry has his farting thing back. Jerry also has the next class with the ring-leader of the losers. Jerry is standing there and the loser walks by and Jerry makes the farting noise. The loser doesnt like this too much and takes a swing at Jerry. Jerry has some boxing experience so he dodges the punch and pushing the loser to the ground. Then Jerry began to punch and kick the loser.

So Jerry has been suspended for 2 days and I think the loser who said "loving monday" has been suspended for a week.

Games / Getting any new games?

This is a question Ive actually thought about a lot.
What are your thoughts about getting new games? (This is a console player only question really)

Because, like Assassin's Creed IV, the games obviously run better and are optimized for the next gen consoles coming out so I feel like I wont get the full experience if I buy any of the new games coming out.
Like I really want AC:IV, Watch Dogs, Titanfall and a few others but I might just wait until I get a new console.

Looking in to getting a PVR once I get some money for my birthday.
Will to spend up to $150ish. But my real question is

How would I go about capturing in-game chat, game, and my voice? Would I have to buy a 2nd microphone and hook it up with audacity? Buy a mixer?

My teacher has assigned about 30 problems to do and he doesnt teach us anything about physics. Im stuck on this problem. I dont know why Im stuck but I am.

A rescue helicopter lifts two people using a winch and a rescue ring as shown in Figure 21 (Helicopter lifting two people with a mass of 120 kg; and the rope is 12 meters long)

A. The winch is capable of exerting a 2000-N force. What is the maximum mass it can lift. My answer 204.08 kg

B. If the winch applies a force of 1200 N, what is the rescuer's and victim's acceleration. My answer 6.87 m/s^2 (Totally wrong because that would be a super fast winch)

C. Using the acceleration from part b, how long does it take to pull the people up to the helicopter? My answer 1.7 seconds
