Off Topic / Say no to MSGs say yes to Shingles!!
« on: March 07, 2017, 09:24:51 PM »
Awesome new research out, groundbreaking really, on why MSG's are bad and Shingles are good

My friends over at vaginexxters.com have come out a really A+ article on another reason to say NO to vaccines
http://vaxxter.com/shingles-vaccine-side-effects/

Guys did you hear???
"This vaccine also contains Monosodium L-glutamate, or “MSG,” as it is more popularly known as. The American Heart Association calls MSG  “common trigger for A-fib.” It has also been linked to killing brain cells, obesity, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s."

Where are these "links" between MSG and these DETRIMENTAL side effects? forget you, thats where.

Word on the street guys. MSGs, the stuff you've been eating your whole life has secretly been killing you and even deeper dudes, I hear the government is using it for population control.

So put down your tomatoes, stop getting your shingles vaccines, and say NO to ATRIAL FIBRILLATION, ASS CANCER, TERMINAL PARKINSON'S, and DEADLY OBESITY.

Off Topic / Tornado touchdown 2 miles from my house
« on: February 26, 2017, 06:25:59 PM »
Obviously not a big deal for some of you forumers but I live in Western Mass and I don't think I've ever heard of a tornado touching down here

2 days ago while is was at school (about 20 minutes from my house) an EF1 tornado touched down about 2 miles from my house taking out a few trees and ripping the whole side off a house, destroying a barn, and ripping most of the siding and shingles of the church and a few other houses. It knocked power out for the entire town for about 36 hours. Pretty crazy stuff and kinda wish I got to see it. 20 mins away and it was a typical day out at school. Anyways some crazy stuff

Off Topic / Mascot name changed from Indians to something else
« on: February 15, 2017, 10:10:55 PM »
So just wanna hear what you guys think

A school near me has recently decided to change their mascot name from the Indians to something currently undecided. This is due to a history of complaints about the name being insensitive and even offensive. Anyways, the school board voted (without the town) to change the name just the other day and has caused huge backlash in the community and surrounding areas.

In my opinion, its really not that big of a deal. The school hasn't had a physic mascot for awhile now, none of there uniforms say "Indians" on them so they wouldn't need to be replaced. The only thing that would change would be the name. I'm pretty neutral on the decision and don't see it as a big deal either way but can see both sides of the issue. My school has gone through the same thing and I know that no one, besides the old stuffs who graduated 50 years ago, care that we changed our name from the Redskins.

Anyways, besides the fact that the school mascot is seen as insensitive, the whole town is named after a known Indian killer.

What are you guys thoughts on this specific issue?

Off Topic / [news] jesus is actually lucifer
« on: January 21, 2017, 09:14:08 PM »
*satire*

while going down a rabbit hole of hermeticism, gnosticism, luciferianism and a bunch of other stuff i basically figured out that jesus is literally lucifer

Isaiah 14:12 KJV "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

Lucifer, the fallen angel (aka the meany red horned devil dude that all girls dress up as halloween at least once during their lives), is referred to as "son of the morning"

So Lucifer, aka the devil, aka the son of the morning has a bunch of other synonyms given to him in different translations including (but not limited to):
morning star
shining star
day star
son of Dawn
star of the morning
O shining one

Basically Lucifer is this really bright guy

Come with me, we're going to Revelations 2.
Revelations 2:28 boys "And I will give him the morning sun"

Morning sun huh? Where have we heard that before...BUT WAIT, theres more

Revelations 22:16 NLT "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star."

Literally this Jesus guy is admitting to sharing the same name with the devil, the forget

Numbers 24:17 "I see him, but not here and now. I perceive him, but far in the distant future. A star will rise from Jacob;..." (aka jesus man)

Matthew 2:2 "Where is the new born king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him" No one knew who the wise men were but they knew the star in the sky represented the Messiah...or was it Lucifer????

Revelations 20:1 "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain on his hand" Okay, so who is this angel? Is he good or bad?? Well lets jump to

Revelations 1:18 "I am the living one. I died, but look - I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave." So Jesus holds the key to this pit or grave

Revelations 9:1 "Then the fifth angel blew his Annoying Orangeet, and I saw a star that had fallen to earth from the sky, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit"
So the star that had fallen (like in Isaiah 14:12) also has the key to this bottomless put, the same key that Jesus has. Who's got the real key here

This ride never ends, not here.

2 Peter 1:19 "Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place - until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts."

well if this isnt icriminating

Off Topic / Bahama's Miller beats USA's Felix in the 400m
« on: August 16, 2016, 08:50:11 PM »
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g19ZSw_nQWs

Miller dove across the finish line to ensure her gold in the 400m

Salty American's are calling it unfair and claiming it should be illegal. I don't see a problem with it as the goal is to get to the finish as fast as possible. Rules are the torso is counted, so Miller's hands crossing the line didn't even help. Miller was ahead of Felix for most of the race.

What are your opinions

just came from a g eazy/logic concert and let me tell you what you already know

g eazy is garbage

he has zero lyricism and creativity
his incredibly repetitive theme and lyrics of loving your bitch get old after the 4th or 5th song

only his music is decent which is made by his dj Quiznos or whatever he's called

if it wasn't for logic it would have been better just to throw my money in the trash

Off Topic / SlayerZ's life lessons
« on: April 23, 2016, 07:03:55 PM »
Reflecting on the past few years, especially the last two, here are some life lessons that I like to think made positive changes in my life

At 19, Im still really young and I have a lot to learn and I bet some of these will change with time but yeah

Be more open minded
I grew up in a religious family so from a young age I was programmed to really think a certain way. Everything about my childhood focused on religion and anything that didn't I was pretty much sheltered from. High school was a huge change. As I went through high school I learned a lot more. I took a step back and sort of moved away from religion and started to think on my own. Instead of feeling programmed I started to develop my own ideas and opinions on things which I think was really big for me.

Care less about other people's opinions
I used to care too much about what other people thought of me and this prevented me from doing things I liked and showing who I really am. I used to think that people were super judgmental and anything you do would be used against you. I realized that thinking this way was having a negative impact on me and it was really making me unhappy. Even though Im finishing up my first year of college, it has really should me that 1) dont care too much about other peoples opinions about you and 2) no one gives a stuff anyways

Try new things
I grew up in a really small town that no one really left. I was/am content with living a small town life and have a fairly regular schedule. But when I met my girlfriend about 2 years ago, she was so different than me. This made me go out and try new things. I decided that I wanted to experience more. "Live more" I guess. I basically said "forget it" and broke out of my repetitive lifestyle. I tried new foods and new activities I would have never considered doing before.

Don't be afraid to fail
An old man who was one of the most positive influences in my life passed way from cancer 2 summers ago. Before he died he told me that "if you're afraid, you won't get anywhere in life" and I really believe him. Fear stopped be from doing things and trying things because I was afraid of failing. This ties into the try new things too. I stopped letting fear hold me back from things. Hell, was I nervous making these videos for this big internship? Yeah I was but I told myself that I could do it. And guess what, they loved the videos. I thought about quitting for a minute, saying that these videos were too difficult to make but then I decided that I didn't want to lose this opportunity.

Explore more
I'm serious. Just go out and explore more. I live in a pretty wooded area and some of the coolest, most beautiful places I've seen have been down these random dirt roads. My girlfriend and I would just drive around, find a random road, and see whats down there. Really cool and some dangerous experiences haha.

Make less excuses
I used to make excuses of why I couldn't do something all the time. Mostly due to fear. This goes back to the trying new things and not being afraid to fail. Then I decided that I wanted to see what was out there and experience more so I stopped making excuses. I'm trying to get onto the track team at UMass. It's gonna be tough but I believe I can do it . Im not making excuses. I could say, Well I havent run in a while; or Well I missed my junior year of track in high school; or Well I didn't do great at the state meet. I have a million reasons I can use but I'm not going to because even if I can't make the team I know that I didnt make any excuses and that I worked my ass off.

Drink more
Water. Its good for you

Off Topic / SlayerZ is trying to get an internship
« on: April 14, 2016, 09:02:41 PM »
So I changed majors from Building and Construction Technology to Kinesiology here at UMass Amherst and I'm loving kinesiology so far!

I've been speaking to my professor about once a week, asking him all my questions I have and about coaching and track & field strategies.

Now I'm tryna to get an internship doing strength and conditioning coaching with the UMass football team. Even though we suck it would still be an awesome experience to work on a NCAA D1 team.

I've turned in my resume and my cover letter and I was told they were good so Im onto the next step. I have to make 3 videos no more than 1 minute long coaching an athlete in an upper body lift, lower body lift, and olympic lift. And it has to be done by next Thursday.

Anyways Im really really hoping to get this internship! Wish me luck!

Off Topic / How crazy am I for wanting to travel the world?
« on: March 17, 2016, 10:59:18 PM »
I was thinking about how amazing it would be to just get up and walk away from everything and buy a ticket and not look back. To travel around the world and explore and observe hundreds of different cultures and meet people from all over the world. I've considered it before but haven't really looked into it or talked about it at all because I feel like people would think I'm crazy if I were to sell everything I own and take my money from the bank, buy a camera and a backpack, and just get up and leave. I think people will think Im crazy because they'd want to know why I would want to give up such a comfortable life and give up my relationships to travel.

Although it sounds super cliche, have you every thought that there was something more out there? I know there way more I want to experience and learn.

Maybe I'm crazy but its something that I've been thinking, even dreaming about lately.

Off Topic / TheSnappening : SlayerZ destroys his neck
« on: March 11, 2016, 05:25:22 PM »
Two weeks ago I woke up with a mystery pain and ache in my neck. Didn't really think anything off it and after two weeks it felt pretty okay. So I head to the gym, do some warm ups on the bench and throw on 205lbs. As soon as I begin to lower the weight there's a loud pop and pain shoots down my left arm and my neck into my upper back.

I'm at Urgent Care right now getting an x ray on my neck. The doctor said I might have herniated a disc in my neck.

I have another appointment on Monday with my primary so we'll see what's happening with SlayerZs broken neck. I'll keep you guys updated

Off Topic / How do vegans respond to animals killing animals?
« on: March 03, 2016, 01:45:42 PM »
100% legitimate question

what do vegans say about animals on animal violence? (blockland forum is my first and only source for information. google isnt trustworthy)

this question came about from my other topic about Vegan Gains and his idea that its okay to wish death onto a person (slice their throats, rip out their intestines, die from cancer) because they cause the "suffering and death of animals"
