A lot of the generation ahead of me have been posting stuff on Facebook like
"When I was a kid I didn't have an XBox or Wii, there was this thing called a Lite-Brite. My curfew was the street lights and mom didn't call my cell, she yelled "time to come in". I played outside with friends, not online. If I didn't eat what my mom made me then I didn't eat. Hand sanitizer didn't exist, but you COULD get your mouth washed out with soap. Re-post if you drank water out of a hose and survived..."
I replied with
"Don't you hate the "When I was a kid I didn't have... so so " Unfortunately we are not the same generation as you, therefore we like different stuff. I'm sure that, if you were a kid and you had the same stuff we had today, you would be the same way."
I wonder what the generation before my parent's had to say. Probably something along the lines of
"When I was a kid, we didnt have garden hoses to drink from. My mom didnt call us into eat, we were lucky to get a meal. We had a curfew but no streetlights, so if we got lost in the dark, we stayed out there till morning. What the heck is a 'lite-brite'.
Please feel free to add on to the last generation one. =D
