stuff story time:
Finally the girlfriend and I got the same day off from work so we decide to try for the beach in RI, which is about 2 1/2 hours away. We're about 15 minutes out from the beach, the sun is shining, its gonna be a great day. I'm traveling on the highway and as we begin to cross a bridge I hear a clunk and metal scraping. I pull over to the side of the road and check the car and my trailing arm near the back left wheel rusted completely through and snapped off and was scraping against the wheel. Well I was already 2.25 hours away from home and only 15 minutes from the beach so I said forget it, and kept driving.
Well, since the trailing arm prevent front and back motion of the wheel, it made braking completely impossible so I had to downshift literally everything. We made it to the beach only for the weather to turn nasty and cold and after only 2 hours decided to head back home.
I made it back, driving on the highway, about 45 minutes away from home when stuff really started hitting the fan. The tire was now rubbing against the rusty wheel well. I pulled off the highway, called AAA and realized it would be $4 for every mile towed so I was like, Im not gonna pay that. I was able to get the car home using back roads.
Anyways, I replaced the trailing arm and bushing for only $75 or so the my 2001 Camry is back in commission but my bumper is about to fall off at any moment and my gas tank is rusting. I just need this thing to survive 2 more years of school.

« on: August 21, 2017, 10:14:10 PM »wtf?I dont know what to tell you man. I was in the 60 - 70% zone and as you can see it was still very bright out and the sun never stopped casting shadows. It only darkened the slightest amount, about as much as a cloud covering the sun during a regular day.
the videos I was watchin, people were in damn near perfect darkness, the streetlights turned on, the sky was black, wtf?

It practically became night, i didnt even see the loving moon pass anywhere near the sun.
Im comvinced i didnt get an eclipse at all, and it was just a stray cloud.

I've been dating my girlfriend for nearly 3 years and while she is home during the summer, we're over 2 hours away when she's at school and since I can't get out there I see her every month or so. It's tough sometimes I guess especially cus I like the physical aspect of a relationship but it's not too bad. We're both busy people so the weeks go by quick.
While mines not technically a long distance, I can understand the difficulties that long distance can cause. But as already stated, if it's meant to be ten it doesn't matter much how far apart but the end goal (obviously) is to physical be together someday.

Didn't do much this summer but I got promoted at my job, met some cool ass people at work, and got my dream internship for the Fall so that's sweet. Very excited for the school year

I can almost guarantee skipping kool kids klub wasn't a coincidence either because they put the Ks up immediately after a strikeout and between the 3rd and 4th strikeout (2 Ks and 4Ks) was 2 innings so...I took pictures cus I bet that's what they were doing too haha
