is this it? is this the end? what sequence of events brought me to this point? what aboard circumstances lead me here? is this the cruel painful plan that was orchestrated by the malevolent of deity? who am I really? what purpose did I serve in this life that was granted to me? i suppose I'll never know. if this is what my life lead up to, and if this is truly the end, then I'll accept my fate

I sprung for a factory refurbished s7 when my iPhone 4s died.
Cost me less than $300 for the phone, excellent case, and a couple extra charger cords.
Definitely has a better camera and bigger screen than the 4s did.
Happy with it. Works well. Worth what it cost me.
I think I'm gonna pick up the S7 on black friday for $300 from Walmart.

welp, this is the end for me guys

a few weeks ago a kid was diagnosed with meningitis and is in the hospital. so far he has come out of his coma and has lost all of his toes in an attempt to save his feet

now, another kid who has had no contact with the first kid, has been diagnosed with meningitis as well

this is it guys, it was nice knowing you. soon all of umass will be infected and we'll all die. its gonna be like the movie outbreak where you'll have to lock all of us up and bomb us to eradicate the virus

« on: November 13, 2017, 05:24:35 PM »
what part was supposed to be ironic? i don't follow. keto is a legitimate diet that involves cutting carbs and sugars. it is proven to lose weight. it is a fad diet sure, but it works.
it's a fad diet that works for some period of time, it can have negative side effects, it can be real easy to relapse. OP needs to focus on just fixing his diet and realizing he needs way more calories than 500 a day and telling him to eat a low carb diet for weight loss (which I bet he doesn't actually need to lose weight) is idiotic. A low carb diet (or no carb as you said) will forget up OP physically and mentally at this point, so there's no need for it right now. Calculate your maintenance in calories and use an app to track macros OP and start eating healthier

Okay handicaps listen up.
2. No carbs. NO forgetIN CARBS. This includes added sugars. Natural sugars found in fruits and veggies is fine.

Ironic lol

Also, 500 calories isn't close to enough to what you should be eating. Here's the thing, you don't have to be thin to be healthy. Yeah, typically more weight = increased risk for all cause mortality but its not always the case. So instead of mentally and physically destroying yourself by starving yourself, you should focus on eating a slight caloric deficit (i.e. eat more than 500 loving calories a day) and focus on eating healthy. Start simple then work up by cutting certain things like sodas and other sugary drinks or cutting certain snacks and replacing it with something else. Then try to incorporate some exercise, even 10 minute bouts of something. Then start doing 2 or 3 10 minute bouts a day. Then try a 30 minute session ever other day until you can build into a steady routine.

Its tough but its worse when you think you're helping yourself by starving yourself but you're really just doing way more damage.

Take care of yourself and eat healthy and don't loving starve yourself please.

Off Topic / Anyone have a Moto G5 Plus or G5s

Im currently still using my Moto G3 but I really need to upgrade without spending a lot. I was wondering if anyone had the G5 plus or G5S and could tell me their opinions. The G5 Plus w 4gb ram is on sale for black friday for $225 so I was leaning towards that but I'm still gonna see what's out there.

Your best bet is asking people at your uni who took it but those two seem to be doable together. Then again, I don't go to your uni so I can't tell you anything about those classes.

Games / Re: do any guitarists here play rocksmith?
« on: October 17, 2017, 09:31:00 AM »
I have it for my PC and Xbox. Got it first on Xbox but then wanted to play custom songs. I'm still pretty bad a guitar even though I have owned an electric and acoustic for a year and a half now but I can play basic cords and some solos.  Only song I've like mastered is R U Mine cus thats an easy song to play.

I don't have a lot of time but its something fun I like to do when I get an hour or two of free time and I keep telling myself I'll get more serious when I actually have time but for now its just a side hobby but yeah anyways, Rocksmith is fun and was worth buying.
