I'm pretty sure that you will make progress if you accept negative/positive/constructive criticism, and for example take a look of other people's builds, then LIGHTLY copy them, and when you are good enough, you can start building your own stuff.

Its just too... Complicated. We all love simple crosshairs, for example, the default. Its just round.
