Help / Laptop Performance Issues

Ok.. My desktop PC has an intel 1.6mhz processor and 1gb of RAM, windows vista and a stuffty 3d family graphics card, and actually runs blockland pretty smoothly. On the other hand, my laptop pc has 3gb of RAM (not 1), an ATI Radeon 4500 card, windows 7, and the same processor speed, but flashes LAG while playing blockland and has twitchy lag spikes every second.

The laptop has an ADM processor, but only single core. I found the AMD dual core processor patch in the Download section of Blockland.us, and I was wondering if this would work, although mine is only single core... it says the patch will fix pc's from running BL too fast, and I think thats what mine is doing. It seems that the bigger the map is and the more bricks/activity, the smoother it runs. Should I patch my laptop?

Help / Personal Scripting Help

Hey, I've just been trying to learn basic scripting off of cplusplus.com, and have been looking through my addons at their scripts, and I just need a bit more help to make some sense out of this and understand what does what.

Could somebody get on Team Viewer and Skype and try to help me with this? I'm just asking for around 5 or 10 minutes of help, cause I am pretty new to this. Would anyone be generous enough to do so? Thanks.

On topic, I think there should be more default faces and decals. That is all I can think of.

I think the 10,000th would've been better, but oh well.

Any guys here play Maple and have a guy at least level 30, PM me with your characters name or just leave a comment with it.
This only applies for people on the Demethos server, because it's the only one I play on.
I am PQing and Ant Tunnel training mainly, so just... yeah...
By the way, I'm going to be playing on my lvl 43 Cleric "G00PY" (with zeros, not o's).

If you don't play Maple, do not post here at all. Just move along.

Guys, today is your last chance to get on Halo 2. Tonight at 12am PST, Halo 2 and all other original xbox live support will be shut down. For all you guys who have played, especially you halo 2 fanboys out there who have been playing since you got it the night it came out 6 years ago like me, I ask you to play some halo 2 with me for one last time.

This game has literally been almost half my life (yeah, sounds like im a loser, but id kick your ass anytime. inb4intarwebtoughguy), and its like a part of me.

Please, no flame. Just post(nevermind, pm me. flames a bitch. err... go ahead and bitch) your gamertag and when you can play, and I'll add you. That's all I ask. No comments, just your gamertag, like I said.

I hate how this community is constant flame. Guys, just chill. You argue a lot... And I can guarantee I'm getting flamed for this. You guys are sad if you seriously act like this all the time, even when not on the internet like you always are. Walk outside and chill.

And also, I prefer ROBLOX's community, even if it has immature kids everywhere. You guys constantly finding something to bitch about. I'm not going to read the comments, so don't try to bitch at me too.

Modification Help / Thinking about making an addon...

Ok, I'm thinking about making an addon, but I have a few questions.

1. Once I make my addon's model, what decides how big it is in blockland and how the player holds it? (thats what she said) thanks goz3rr

2. Why do people have 'color'.png in the folder for their addon, and not just in the model itself?

3. What decides where that .png color is located on the model?

4. What decides where the projectile comes out of the model?

5. What do #,%,etc mean in addon scripts?


Help would be much appreciated.

Help / "LAG" shouldn't be showing... or should it?

When I play on my desktop pc, there is no lag. When I play on my laptop pc, there is LAG constantly.

Specs:

LapTop- 1.6 ghz single core AMD, 3gb RAM, ATI Graphics

DeskTop- 1.6 ghz dual core Intel, 1gb RAM, i forget what graphics card... (Quick question.. if its dual 1.6, does that mean its 3.2 overall?)
