Personally I wouldn't duplicate a hard-drive/ssd for two reasons, first being all your crap is cloned including everything you don't want and secondly I've heard bad things from stuff going wrong with different capacity drives.

I will have an external video processor and maybe audio hardware if im going to use it.

But on the other hand I decided to get the Arduino Due which has a 32-bit SAM3X8E processor at 84MHz. It also has 94Kb of SRAM.

That's a hell of a lot more powerful than what you were planning to use a few hours ago.

I agree, an upgrade is needed. Though this is just one contributing factor but from seeing the lithography of that processor I can tell it's not recent (being 2006).
