General Discussion / Blockland: Abandoned or Big Update?

Idk how many of these topics there are because i didn't bother searching for them, but seeing how long it's been since Blockland has been updated, I'm curious, because last time the game was in v20 until the loong awaited v21, i havn't seen any indication of a big update, so... anyone have any insight? I mean i don't see why badspot would just suddenly abandon his best selling game, but at the same time i wouldn't blame him, seeing how long he's been at it.

I need it so i can recreate this computer system i made in early 2013 for the club i'm designing. I already have something called "onchatmessage" but it's blocked by blockland saying it's on a list of blocked names, and i remember i was using something else i found in that video cuz onchatmessage didn't load right. help?

I'm trying to get a hold of Meepz99, a player who hasn't logged on for a long time, so if anyone just so happens to have his steam or skype or any means of communication that they'd be willing to share i'd be very thankful.
I think this belongs in this section due to the fact that it's about a blockland player and it is not dramatic in the slightest, if you think it doesn't, tell Badspot or a Mod to move it to Off Topic or Drama

Don't you hate those kind of people? Badspot's game, Badspot's website. He can ban you for making a post at all if he wants to because it's his choice. This is literally HIS world. He never signed a contract saying he can only ban people if you offend someone in some way. Can someone back me up on this?

Help / VCE Is being extremely wierd

It's not VCE it's self as much as the fact that when my gamemode loads and the build automaticly loads when i start it, every VCE related output event is replaced with Setcolor <red>. so i think something is wrong, after a while i cleard bricks and reloaded the same build without doing anything and VCE loaded fine.

I need it to load right the first time is there a fix?

There used to be these pongs that were the basic colors, (red through purple) and i need a Cyan one for the build i'm doing, so, help?

I ether need the old colored pong download or a new one that outputs the pong in the color of the brick its being emitted from. thanks

A simple robloxian tycoon. I was working on one in the past but the save was lost. You can read all about that one here

NOTICE: anything with 1 or more *'s after it is further explained at the bottom of the page.

The Alpha Demo
The first demo to be released for this Gamemode, It will involve the 4 Energy Generators and all the basics Tycoons always have.

How to Play: Run over the grey strip to own the tycoon, then go ahead and buy the first, free tycoon. energy will build up in the collector, run over the collector to collect the energy to spend it. Once you collect 200E you can buy the next generator, and then the next, and then the next. at the moment, that's all there is for the tycoon it's self. In the administration center (where you spawn), there is a row of grey button's, those change the included BGM (background music) and a red button in the corner (reset's the tycoon)

Download will not be available until a certain problem is fixed.

General Discussion / Should i remake my tycoon?

I was thinking, should i remake my Roblox style tycoon i stopped working on?

Ya know, Good ol' Tycoony

I lost the old save so i would have to start from scratch, which also gives people the ability to add suggestions.

About war addition:
I was thinking on adding a whole combat system to it, where you have to protect your Light Factory while attacking others and stealing there earnings. you could buy health upgrades, weapon spawns that only work for you, shielding for your tycoon (aka the walls), automated defenses such as turrets, ect. I could do it, ya think that's an good idea? if not what do you think i should add?
I've been thinking, how about the "light" be just energy, and when you have enough energy you can materialize things like weapon spawns and armor then you go into a special war arena to fight others which fulfills a mandatory goal of some kind.

The vote is closed and i will be making a new tycoon with some kind of war related theme.
I will start a topic showing my progress when i'm done making the basic template.

Remember:
nothing about the gamemode is final until i release it, and that is a long way away. if you have a suggestion i'd be more than happy to hear it.


I feel like i should be congratulating furling, he seems so extremely into this.

A Sonic screwdriver that looks just like Matt Smith's, Holding down the fire button would make it make the sound and light up like it does, and then letting go would make it spring out and become upright for about 2 seconds and then your hand comes up and closes it and it goes back to its default position, as if your checking the result from a scan,

EVENT
A corresponding event that is triggered when the sonic is fired while being pointed directly at that brick. maybe OnSonic or something.

For those who could but don't know what the hell i'm talking about, this shows both positions:

A quality loop of the second climax of Monster (DotEXE 2013 Revision).


The loop its self can be previewed on MediaFire.
Please Note! There is a slight delay when auto-repeating a song on the MediaFire song preview system, it's slight but it's just enough to ruin the quality of the loop as it loops. Keep in mind the quality will be increased apon download.

A short tutorial on how to download and play new songs in blockland for new users

Click the download tab in the top bar of the page in the link (to the right) and download to: Blockland/Addons/music (for steam users this is located in steam/Steamapps/common) then open blockland and create a server with the "Custom" gamemode , go to the music tab and enable "Monster DotEXE", then start the server, when you spawn, press B to open the brick menu, go to the special tab, scroll down a bit, and double click the music brick. Exit out of that menu and place that brick, hit it with the wrench and in the menu select the name of the song you want to play, (in this case, Monster DotEXE) and hit send. the song should start playing from the brick to the surrounding area.
