A lot of it is English/European humour.
But that goes without saying because it's the BBC
I love it. :D

Holy forget, yes! Great stuff!

You should probably watch "How to irritate people". I've only seen one sketch from it, but it was great!
Okay, I'll be sure to look this up. Thanks!

Also added some clips to the OP.

That probably explains it. As you can see, it's pretty old.

Fawlty Towers (1975–1979) was a BBC television sitcom
about hotel owner Basil Fawlty's incompetence, short fuse, and arrogance
that form a combination that ensures accidents and trouble are never far away.

Any fans of this brilliant show? I just finished it yesterday and I already want to watch it again. It's truly a shame it only has 12 episodes. For those who did watch this, are there any similar sitcoms like this one? Anything you'd recommend? Thanks in advance.

But I honestly hate girls who have faces that look completely synthetic due to all the face -applied makeup.
Yeaaah, same.

Personally, makeup just shows that the girl desperately wants some guy's attention, without makeup girls could look very nice.
That's not true. I've worn make-up for some years now, and it's not for that reason. Mainly use fond de teint to hide zits if needed, sometimes some natural looking lipstick when my lips look too pale. That's pretty much all I use right now.

What you call your standards are more like unrealistic expectations.
>implying every female wears tons of make-up

There's loads who don't do it and still look fine.

In my opinion, makeup is almost kind of like art.. just on your face.
For a lot of girls it helps them express who they are.
No they're not. They think they're pretty when really they look like pathetic oranges who're trying too hard to be mature.

Makes me think of the times when girls wore heals in loving primary school. That was just so, so unbelievably stupid.
