The media is predictably trying to spin this so people think it was a case of some guy leaving the entire ATC tower in charge of a kid while he went for a coffee.
That's the media for you.
Although there once was a case where a pilot let his kid fly while the plane was on auto pilot. The father was right next to him. The kid pressed something wrong. And the whole plane crashed, because the pilot couldn't correct the problem in time.

But it was at a busy airport (JFK) at a busy time of day (around 4:00). If they had made one mistake, it could have meant the death of upwards of 200-400 people.

I don't know why people keep complaining about Mexicans illegally coming into our country. Their food is awesome, there way of celebrating is awesome. I mean, who doesn't like beating the stuff out of something for crap loads of candy while munching on high calorie cheese filled delicious flat bread with sauce and shredded goodness on top?
