yeah china is really a disgusting country. my brother was there for like 4.5 months. it executes twice as many people as every other country in the world combined. also the slave labour factories are really horrible.
another fun fact about china is that the car will always have the right of way on a road, meaning if a light goes green and there is a pedestrian on the road, it is completely legal for you to run them over.
If China bans the slave labour, then who will take up the duty of providing the world with a cheap workforce? We should commend China for sacrificing their reputation, and the quality of life of their people, in order to provide the rest of the world with the ability to manufacture goods with incredible ease and cheapness. Without China's slave labour, I doubt that our economy would be as it is today.
The only sad thing about it is that everyone has taken this for granted, and every time a picture of a dirty, anorexic child comes up in the news every commoner wants to blatantly start a petition to ban slave labour. No one tries to look further than their emotions.
No one wants others to suffer, but naturally we don't want to suffer ourselves either. I don't believe that we will ever reach a point where everyone lives above the poverty line, at least not on this planet, or with this technology. Someone will always have to work to the bone so that the rest can have an education, food, and a roof over their head. Instead of abolishing it, we should just be grateful for not being in those factories, try to appreciate the hardship of those who are in one, and doing something useful and productive with the extensive resources that we're given.
