Artillery lines up in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, attempting to take it over. Tanks move in and blow up all government buildings.
Infantry move in and kill any government officials. Then, the town has a choice. Get destroyed by artillery, or become part of Atsina. Any people that vote against joining Atsina are killed.

An entire army of swordsmen vs. a platoon of soldiers.  There are bound to be losses on both side.

Until artillery rains down upon them and/or they get bombed. I wouldn't attack erinaum tho. Too many losses on both sides.
