Mysteroo had the idea to add guard dogs.Would guard dogs automatically chew or fight upon seeing a attacker? If so that makes defenders a bit OP.

Work Shifts: 10 men in the mines, 10 men on the wall, 4 men resting as relief. (this cycles all day.) The women cook, clean and tend in the sick house while President Fletcher either patrols the walls or sits in his chamber thinking.
Our government is a republic like the US, but during warfare, it is put into a controlled dictatorship, where the president and his peers can do things such as force people to work (with fair hours and minimum wage pay) or draft heavily. It gives the government more control during wars.
A peninsula is where the ships dock, and in five days Fort Aeos is built and will serve as a home for the settlers. Men with muskets patrol the fort's wooden walls in watch of natives, food supplies or attackers. The fort consists of a large, very tall wall. Under the walls are the guardhouses and store rooms. At the center is a large building at level with the tallest walkways on the wall, and the top floor is the sleeping quarters and the ground floor is the mess. A small shack is connected to a storage room, and is where the sick are tended to. Another small shack is connected to a different storeroom and is the entrance to the mine, where 10 men work.
