But still, empathy is the key word here. There is no reason people shouldn't care about each other, or have the complex that "Its not me, why should I care?". Sure, right now its an internet forum,  but what about in the "real world"?

But, on topic, I do hope your dog gets better, Chewy. I don't know what I'd do without my dogs. Best wishes, and I hope things turn out alright. :)

I'm positive that, if ever something will happen in my life, this forum will never be a part of the experience.
Why would anyone give a stuff what bad happened to me.
Do you really care if I would post that I just killed a snail and I feel very very bad because of that?
Do you actually care if someone got a year older? I think you're just going to post because it's polite but do you really care?

Killing a snail isn't something I'd grieve about, though lol. This is a dog, something people could consider part of their family and I don't post in birthday topics anymore (though I used to out of courtesy).

In situations like this, I do care. I felt bad for JD and his father, and now I feel bad for Chewy and his dog. Will it affect my life? Probably not. Though I do think it's right to at least help them out to some degree.

The problem is fixed today. Holy stuff. So much to do... I wonder how do I get my own party started?

Go around to smaller towns and recruit volunteers, or go to taverns in the bigger cities and recruit heroes.

Volunteers cost 10 denars (i think?) and tavern-heroes cost 300 denars. There are also mercenaries in the taverns, but they're pretty pricey, so save up for them.

And don't make the mistake I did. I joined the most hated faction, by accident, and everywhere I go, I get captured by an opposing kingdom. :(

Obviously his dog means something to him. Just because something doesn't live forever, doesn't mean you shouldn't let it live. If my dog were in his dog's situation, I'd sell whatever I had to, just so she could see another day.

The most you can do is find the money for surgery, or search all over the internet for a match of what she might have, then look for a solution to fix it.

At least, that's what I'd try to do. Also, sorry about your dog. :(

For the people that hate the holiday, you only have yourselves to blame for being single on this day. I do not pitty you at all. Did any of you make an effort within the last month to try and soften someone up or did you just assume you'd be all alone and piss and moan about it? I used to be the latter so I speak from experience. Quit pouting and feeling sorry for yourself and go out rent a puppy and bump into some random chick at the park. Make small talk, ask her for coffee. there ya go, it's not a real date, but it's better than whining to the forums about it.
