I have deleted the common files
I have logged out and in.

Is there anything else that I can do to make the game not recognized as an installed game?

There is nothing there to help fix this.
Another thing about this: It says L4D2 is installed, and treats the download like an UPDATE. How can I uninstall L4D2 properly?

I recently uninstalled l4d2 because it was having an issue. Now, as i try to redownload it, it won't work.
Is there any way to get the download to start other then the resume button? Note that downloading works for other games but not L4D2.
