er don't wanna get burned here but

D-day for the Americans wasn't too significant in the defeat of Germany. Even if D-day hadn't happened Russia was most likely going to overrun Germany anyway. Like, the only thing it did was force Germany to watch an extra front and increase psychological stress. America was a giant, and everyone was afraid of her, but we were really slow to the punch. The thing we can brag on however was the defeat of Japan and it's ultimate modernization which gave us stuff like dis!:333

russia had really awful technology

i'm pretty certain that if germany didnt have another front to defend and only had to hold off the russians they would have done it easily.

attacking russia is much harder than defending from them, they didnt even have enough guns for all their soldiers.  one died, the other one picked up his gun.
