By that I mean don't let them die of some disease just because they were born poor.

Even if people are born poor, they can work their way out of it.  It seems almost as if you have never considered the pros and cons of each economic and governmental system.

America is great and all, but I do enjoy the history of many European nations.  I'm not a stereotypical "uncultured, stupid American" that Europeans seem to refer to us as.  My school made us identify every country in every continent.  We have been studying World History (mainly focused on the ancient world, Eastern Asia, and Africa) and European History (focused on Europe and its colonies) extensively.

Yes, and that is why America is such a leading country in today's world.  Competition leads to excellence.  If you can't compete, you can't do well.  America is full of failures and victories.

People who get into schools such as Cal. Tech need to get perfect scores on the SATs/ACTs.  They are the future innovators of the technological world.  The CEO's, the Lead Developers.

My grandfather needed a quadruple bypass heart surgery at age 68.  We were lucky enough to get to St. Francis, one of the top heart hospitals on the east coast, where we also got to choose an amazing cardiologist.  He was in the hospital for almost 3 months, but he is on his way to full recovery now.

I don't think you get to pick neither your doctor, nor your hospital.

It works for other countries, there isn't any reason not to use it in America, anyone who doesn't want free health care is a selfish bastard.

I'm such a selfish starfish that I WILL NOT allow you to pay for me.  I DEMAND that I pay for myself.

How rushed was that bill?  It was being pondered for not 2 weeks before he signed it off.

Not everyone wants health care, not everyone deserves health care.  Fat starfishs who eat themselves to death don't deserve free health care.
