He would need a qualified surgeon at the hospital they went to.

If there wasn't, There's a chance he couldn't keep the fingers, as it would be too late.

I hear complex prosthetics are all the rage right now.

No but srsly, they have prosthetics for simple parts (such as fingers) that interact with the tendons in your hand so they bend like real fingers, naturally.

It is really cool.

My dad got cancer and my mom got blood clots, they were sent to the hospital multiple times.
Until they left, i was sitting here doing nothing, not talking the cancer infected ears of my dad, or massaging my mothers leg.

lol.  There is a difference between severe trauma and a progressive condition.  A big difference.
