two of my other coworkers were talking about star trek and they mentioned Q so I was like "what would you guys say if I said that I've met Q's actor" and the guy who ended up finding out said "well I'd say that you've probably been to a convention" and I made the handicapped mistake of saying "yes but it wasn't a star trek convention" so he said "so what convention was it?" and I just said "a convention for a different show for which john de lancie had done voice acting" so he got all smart and looked up shows for which de lancie had done voice acting on IMDB

I'm not too sure what to do, it went for 100 dollars. Should I return it and put towards studio monitors?

only if you really want to, I mean studio monitors are loving fantastic but you don't absolutely need them if you've got a pair of nice headphones.
