Why not, do they get dead pixels easily or something?

All monitors are susceptible to dead pixels. CRT monitors just suck more because they're big and bulky and difficult to move around. Additionally, I haven't seen a CRT monitor with any sort of HD resolution. I could be wrong about that, it's just that I've never seen one. Go with a flatscreen, trust me, you won't regret it.

Does not exist. The only screen recording app I have ever seen and used was one that I found on Cydia. Like several others have said, jailbreaking is required for screen recording. If you don't want to jailbreak because you're too afraid that something will go wrong, which it won't, then you won't be able to get a screen recording app. It's that simple.

A CRT or cathode-ray tube monitor. You don't want one of those, trust me. Get an LCD or similar flatscreen monitor.

Lizzy, that Dash speedpaint is absolutely outstanding. I think my only problem with it, and it's a very small problem at that, is that I think her cutie mark is positioned a bit too low. Other than that, it's wonderful. Excellent job.

in other news, I'm totally going to a brony meet tomorrow. we're going to hike around the local area and then going to a more crowded area to do a Winter Wrap Up flash mob.
