5 bucks says they are going to block research sites beacuase obama thinks a picture of tits will turn his daughter into a giant lesbian

This is about copyright infringement and piracy, not explicit content.

What does Obama have to do with it? :o

He has shown strong support for the bill.

It said the bill probably couldn’t give the Attorney General the power to block YouTube, but it could stop the next YouTube.

loving soccer moms

No, it's more like loving stupid government people that don't understand stuff about the Internet and the fact that passing this act won't do stuff about online piracy and copyright infringement. It also aims to censor YouTube (yes, completely block YouTube and other video sites like it) which won't happen in a million years because Google is loving massive and wouldn't allow for that to happen.

What if that gets censored too?

This act cannot censor every single IP address that VPNs have to offer, and Overplay has IPs in over 20 different countries. There's no way in hell this act could censor each and every single one of them.

It's also possible to get around this by using a VPN. I'm planning on taking a look into subscribing to Overplay, because it's not incredibly expensive and it's the best one.

I thought that the laws of the constitution were not allowed to be changed.

Unfortunately, the term "act" used in this basically means "treaty," and treaties circumvent the entire Constitution. This bill is like ACTA, about which I posted a topic last month, except this one is like ACTA on steroids and is much more powerful.

I expected this to be some half-ass friend of yours producing crap in his garage... it was actually pretty damn good.

Haha, no, although it'd be nice to have this guy as a friend.

This guy is one of the best guitar players I've ever seen, and he doesn't play the guitar like you'd expect.

YouTube user TomSka (creator of the "asdfmovie" series) has uploaded several videos of Konstantinovic (pronounced "kon-stan-ti-NOH-vich") playing original songs, and they are all really awesome.

Rain Before the Storm
Requiem
The Journey

His album is called "Rain Before the Store" and you can purchase it here, on Amazon, or here, on iTunes.

Sputnikmusic user Nevin said this about Konstantinovic:

If there's one thing that I can say about former InMe guitarist Ben Konstantinovic, it's that he is unique. On his debut EP, Rain Before The Storm, he uses a technique known as lap-tapping. For those unfamiliar with this method, it is simply this: He sits with his guitar, whether it be acoustic or electric, across his lap and uses quick finger taps against the strings to make a unique listening experience. Sounds simple enough, but when listened to, it's clear that it takes skill and accuracy to create the multi-layered experience that comes with Rain Before The Storm. There are no lyrics, no other instruments, just one man and his guitar, which injects each song with a very personal touch. For those who appreciate a nice night drive, this record is definitely catered to you.

Show this music to your friends, get this guy more known.

One of my friends got his old PS2 for $15 at a garage sale all those years ago.
