Anistropy is filtering textures that are far away and angled weirdly so that they don't lose too much "quality" from being angled in this way.

"reduce render latency" literally means to shorten the time it takes to draw an image on the screen. As with most settings, you probably shouldn't touch it unless you know what you're doing.

You don't have to reply to yourself, there's an edit button.

I've also done you the favor of finding them on the archive.

Lol

Not with speedkarts
In an extremely roundabout way, yes it can.

After determining your random number, run a long series of "if" checks to see if it is equal to a static number. Like, let's pretend that the MK64-styled kart is 1, and the MK7-styled cart is 2.

If you get 1, set the vehicle to Speedkart 64. Not hard.
If you don't, keep going through the numbers until you get a match.

General Discussion / Re: Ice Bricks?

so theres probably no way to do it with bricks

Actually, a while back, while I was redoing my chair bricks, I had created some sort of error where the brick itself became slippery and acted like it had no friction. I don't believe I have that file anymore, but what happened was that I had two identical collision boxes overlapping one another.

Here's the file for reference, if anybody wants it.

Ok. Which programs are available? I know there's Blender, but I've also heard of some others.
Here you go.

The most important thing is to find a program that makes sense to you, really. You could have the greatest tools in the world and it wouldn't mean anything if you spent 10 minutes fumbling over the interface.

The "torque dts exporter" is a plug-in that only comes natively with certain versions of Milkshape.

Help / Re: Letting a Client Start and Stop Their Server?
« on: July 26, 2014, 02:59:36 PM »
Right the problem is letting my client remotely shutdown and start there server.

"quit();" as a server command will stop it. Coming up with a way to start it will require your own set-up.

Oh, hey, you've got some progress done. Great job.

In order to improve upon the global blacklist idea some, would it be plausible to make it so you can pick-and-choose from offenses?

Players will be able to request a ban lift.
Even so, it still sounds terrible.
Will server owners have the option to opt-out? What criteria is needed for a person to be globally blacklisted?

Are you running the portable version? That's important.

Huh. I wasn't the only one who remembered.

Could be that he simply can't afford them.
