The best part is that the minimum suggested RAM for 64 bit computers is 4GB. this now explains why all my programs referred the computer as 32 bit.

And can you even upgrade the hard drive in your laptop?
These are things that you need to like quadruple check for upgrading your laptop. RAM isn't hard to upgrade but your storage is up in the air for most laptops, especially if your laptop is older.
I have yet to check compatibility with the SSD

Currently my computer is a sack of stuff.
Since I'm too cheap and can't be bothered, I bought 8gb of ram and am planing on buying a 128gb SSD for it.
My only concern is that the processor will bottleneck the ram.
