Solution: don't lose your charging cable.  Also, did you know that the company that owns Youtube also made Android?  I heard they're now making their own Youtube app for iOS so it doesn't suck ass too.  Isn't that a weird coincidence? Oh, and android has great flash support by the way.

I'm fully aware that Google owns youtube and android. Its dumb that apple acknowledges that Flash is much more common than Quicktime, and it forces you to use their stuffty outdated flash. If I go to Homestarrunner.com to watch a video, chances are, I can't.  Also, you can't use a glazed excuse like "don't lose your cord" because, sometimes, its not your fault. Cords a susceptible to damage in many ways.

I'll give you locked down, but incompatible?  With what?  The iPhone is just as expensive as its competition, and no phone out there has a usb port, they have micro usb.

USB = Micro USB it's all very common. also, what about Java? Flash? Apple has to make separate apps to support Youtube and such because it wants to force the use of Quicktime.  Also, If you lose the charging cord, you can't just go out and buy a Micro-USB cable from Walmart and let it charge, you have to pay $30 for an Apple to USB charger/Connection. Also, It's resolution is significantly smaller than 1080p
